The Greenline Market is way above average for a convenience store. It has plenty of candies, meals and beverages. They even have some quality products such as local brands of beverages. This is right next to a light rail stop at Portland State University.
I went in shortly ago for the first time. The staff were very friendly. After finding Alpenrose chocolate milk for $ 1.19, I decided to purchase one. My transaction was quite efficient, making it easy to catch the bus.
Greenline Market is where you ought to go.

When I’m in a pinch on campus and need something healthy/​vegan to go and don’t have time to wait at food for thought, greenline is my go-​to.
They have synergy and Iionheart kombucha, gin gins, those delicious bars of packed coconut and dates, cliff & builder bars, CoGo juices, UH-​MAZING to-​go food from sweet lemon thai bistro and another amazing local indian place to name some favorites. They also have a selection of craft beer in the back and a serve yourself station of tazo tea and seattle’s best coffee.
If I ever grab a black bean wrap from pita pit next door it’s here i’ll be getting beverage/​chip selections (yes, for the kettle chips, salty wafers of heaven) and a soda. Its also conveniently outside the rec center in urban plaza so you can rehydrate after the gym or break some bills for the bus.

This place is great. I often stop in to snag a Yurba Mate and a snack before heading off to class. I appreciate the convenient location and the speed in which I can get in and out with what I need.
The Green Line staff has always been super nice and helpful. I love the way they always ask about my day and have me leaving with a smile on my face.

If you bring your own mug you can get fresh coffee for a buck. There are fresh, healthy, locally-​made options for grab-​and-​go foods in addition to what you’d expect from a convenience store. The store is always clean & well stocked, and everybody who works there is quite nice.

Hard to give a store like Greenline Market any more than 3 stars. It’s basically the very definition of «A-​OK.» This is a convenience store, not unlike one you would find at a gas station. Yet it is a clear step up from most gas station as it is clean and the employees are always friendly. Decent selection of most things that they sell. It’s fine, but not groundbreaking.
