Scouting the scene for a future project, Grow World boasts about their size and selection at their main location all the way out past 174th. They weren’t exaggerating about their space — lots of room for displays and stock, which covers most of the potential needs of the home grower at first glance. I was able to spend several minutes wandering the store while talking to a young lady about the different setups and options. Since this hobby is really based off personal preferences than anything, I tested her knowledge and she offered a depth of answers that I found very helpful. In short, they know their client’s needs and can help a customer tailor parts to whatever situation they’re in. They also have plenty of exchange material on hand — flyers, business cards and trade papers that have more information and even contacts for private contracting and consulting for assembling those low-key herb gardens in places where discretion is required. I can’t speak to overall pricing compared to local competitors — I was only doing some research while in town on a visit — but they seemed reasonable and in line with similar offerings through online competitors. Coupled with that tangible in-person knowledge and smile I’d say it’s worth going through your local vendor, if you can make it out that far.

I have been in this store multiple times. They already have a great selection, and they keep adding more, plus they do special orders, which is great. Anytime I have been in they have been helpful with answering any questions I have and comparing notes with better ways to grow. Thanks Grow World!

Like being able to ask questions. Very informative. They arent about here you buy this stuff and figure it out… Chris Zellerhoff is our man! He asked what we were doing our space and what we want as an end result. Love this place!!!

They cant even get pre-paid orders in on time & dick around with thousands of your dollars. Only 2 people in the store know what they are actually talking about to some degree. The boss guy i think his name is Eric tried selling me a product called liquid light said it adds more lumens to your plant. I almost died of laughter! Its a folier spray/feed nutrient that helps your plant grow healthier. Has nothing to do with adding more light to your plant… That guy has no clue what he is talking about. I advise to shop else where to a company that can handle orders & money in a timely & more respectable way. When your spending lots of cash on your organic farm you deserve that. Good luck with your growing adventures.

I have now started going to Grow Wold for all of my indoor needs. They seem to have everything I need in stock when I need it for a good price. Couple times they ordered some specialty stuff in for me and I had it the next day. All the dudes there Know their stuff and are always there to give you an unbiased opinion on the products they have.
