BADBADEXPERIENCE. I walked into HealthQuest at 3:45 for a confirmed appointment at 4 pm. I was told to get there 15 minutes early to fill out paper work. When I walked in, the receptionist(who looks Hispanic and is younger with long brown hair-I am kicking myself for not getting her name) was on the phone and she mouthed the words to «sign in» on the sign in sheet. I told her I needed paper work as I am new. She ignored me. I went to the waiting room to sit down and wait for my paper work. The receptionist was running around trying to fax something to whoever she was talking to on the phone. By her loud tone of voice I could see that she was clearly having issues with the faxing. She kept saying into her headset ‘BUT I DIDTRYTOFAXIT. YOUDIDN’T GETIT? HUH?? WHAT??” and running back and forth for almost 20 minutes. Now I have been to other spa’s and they are quiet, relaxing, peaceful. This was awful. I felt very stressed listening to her yelling. Minutes tick by. Pretty soon it’s 4 pm. I went to the receptionist and indicated that I was on a schedule and she had not even given me the paperwork and it was time for my appointment. She pointed to a cheap clock hanging on the wall and said«Well OUR clock says it’s 3:55» — I showed her my cell phone and told her that this was the accurate time and she said«we go by OUR clocks» and I said«well I have an appointment later and I can’t be late and the person I am meeting does not go by YOUR clock, they, like me, go by the correct time and I can’t be late» — she then gave me my paperwork and started calling up to get the massage therapist down while I frantically tried to hurry and fill out my paperwork. It’s now 5 minutes past my start time. This is where it gets bad. The receptionist is loudly asking someone on the phone why my massage therapist has not come down to get me «well WHERE is he? he SHOULD be in his ROOM! He needs to GET down here NOW. SHEHASANAPPOINTMENTLATERANDCAN’T BELATE».it was embarrassing and awkward and I knew right then I would never come back. When my therapist came down things were strained and he was stressed. I did finally get the massage, everything was rushed and the massage was mediocre. Additionally to get to the massage therapist room you have to go up two flights of stairs, down numerous hallways and at one point there was a traffic jam in the hallway with about ten people trying squeezing through. The place is noisy and distracting and run down with people running in every direction. I must say it’s the first time I’ve been to get a massage and left more stressed than when I came in.
