I adore this sparkly, fun and funky boutique. Across the street from India rill, I spotted this gem full of gems while I ate and had it slated for a place in my cold, Unilocal heart. I will not even be adding this store to my «another spendy boutique» list because some items were downright affordable. You could easily find a $ 10 pair of earrings(maybe even less). So many large sparkly pieces of junky jewelry. Beautiful stuff, and fairly well made, it’s mostly reproductions of vintange and a lot of other stuff as well. Add a pillow section, a few chatchkies, some nice furniture, and racks of clothing on the left side of the store. I looked only at the sale rack where I found a J Jill(my fave) and a few other really well made pieces for cheap — like $ 8 – 12. I really enjoyed walking around — there’s a decent amount of room so I don’t feel like the perverbial bull. We talked to the owner(Heather?) who was lovely. They don’t sell much stuff from local artists but she said they were starting to. I got lots of great ideas for making stuff as well as ideas for buying presents for people back east, so I wll definitely be back!

Right across the street from the Acura dealer on Stark! Another adorable and affordable resale/fun bling shop. The owner’s(I didn’t catch her name) display outside of bright dresses and tops caught my eye as I was driving by. Right next door to Community Appliances. So Hello Gorgeous has jewlry, hair things, rhinestones, cute shoes, consignment clothing(in larger ie: real sizes too) and home décor. It’s a tiny colorful shop packed full of treasures. And — as the owner says — you can actually afford to shop there. If you’re in the hood, check it out
