I called Hunter Davisson yesterday to diagnose and fix a problem I was having with a large refrigeration unit in my business. I was told that they would have to transfer a new compressor unit to do the job today. This was the result: 1. The dispatcher/scheduler kept me in the loop as to when the technician would arrive. 2. The technician(Randy) showed up on time and was polite, quiet(the business was open while he was doing his work) and friendly. 3. Their estimate was right on. 4. They finished the work ahead of schedule and the fridge is working great. The whole thing was professional and easy!

I’ve always been of the opinion that you can tell a lot about a company by their employees and by their concern over their brand. When you think about it, a company’s employees really are an extension of their brand as they serve as ambassadors for the company. Hunter Davisson doesn’t seem to agree with this concept. Rude employees and indifference from upper management are not great ways to market your brand. Their website says, «You’ve seen our green vans…». Yes, in fact I have. Too often. Too much. Two particular green vehicles reside evenings and weekends in front of my house and the homes of my neighbors. They block the view, making backing out of our driveway difficult and dangerous. They spew trash and litter into the street. They take up parking spots for guests. They make it unsafe for our kids to play outside. They make it impossible to work in parts of my front yard. Imagine constantly seeing giant loud green billboards parked in your quiet neighborhood, every day and all weekend. And the owners don’t even live on our block. When asked to move these giant teenage mutant ninja turtle vans, we get stare downs and glares. They try to intimidate my family with their macho bravado. So when I contacted the home office to discuss this issue, I was basically told to deal with it myself. So I am. I’m writing this not so glowing 1 star review.
