3-stars: Ditch the styrofoam! Omg it’s 2016! I always get the Yakisoba with tofu and it is always good. The portions are great. I eat enough to for dinner and have left overs for lunch. The atmosphere is ultra bright and sparse. The service is cheerful and prompt.

Great food, fast, friendly service. –1 star for styrofoam to go containers. Would be 5 stars if they had a more comfortable dining room with better lighting. Can’t go wrong with the specials board. Great spicy chicken and gyoza.

The Ichi restaurants are hands down the best teriyaki spots I’ve ever eaten at. Whoever doesn’t agree clearly doesn’t know what real food is. What sets them apart from others like«joy teriyaki» is the quality. Their free egg flour soup(when dining in), is also amazing. The food is absolutely delicious. Eat here all the time!

Food alone, maybe three stars. The portions are big, presentation is nice, and they give you free soup for dine in. It’s always clean and I can get my order pretty quickly. I took off a star because the owner is awful. He is okay with me, but I have gone in here twice where he was berating a young female worker. They way he spoke to her, I would have never allowed it if I was her. Maybe that is why there seems to be new people working here all the time. This guy needs serious management training.

Checked this out today and it was well worth it! Had the L3 lunch special — it was awesome and I went away stuffed! Didn’t even have the free egg flower soup as I was too full! Great value and great taste plus clean, pleasant dining area! And fountain drinks are only $ 1!

The place closes at 9pm. We get there at 8:20pm. Im hungry because I worked all day and had to skip lunch due to my hectic schedule at work. My family waits for me to go out for dinner. Just wanted to place simple orders and dine in. The owner, yeah the owner(middle aged asian guy) is at the cash register and denies dine in service and gives me an attitude when I ask if its ok to eat here instead of take out. He kept asking me if I wanted take it to go when I clearly said we’re eating here. He sounded like a broken record. 40 minutes left on the clock and you treat your customers this way? Don’t forget customers are the ones feeding your family! Disrespectful service and I’ll never go there again. There are great teriyaki restaurants within 5 minutes of this place. I’ll make sure everybody I know never goes to this place. Don’t go here for dinner.

I think the owner must not want new business. We came here at 8:10(they close at 9) because we wanted to get a sit down meal before a movie and the guy was rude as hell. Heavily insinuated we wouldn’t get our meal until 5 minutes to 9 and encouraged us to get it to go. We got our food within 5 minutes no less and sat and ate there anyways. Upon finishing our food and complimenting him for the good meal he looked annoyed and didn’t make eye contact with either of us just staring at his phone or something. I shook my head and left vowing to never come back.

The food isn’t too bad, and the free soup is good. But, the owner is a first class jerk. Sometimes you get good portions, and other times. it is notably smaller, especially when you pay the extra 50 cents for steamed veggies instead of salad. Sometimes you get far less than if you would have just had the salad(less than half). The salad dressing is mayonnaise based, so I opt for the steamed veggies. The owner not only seems to treat his staff bad, but he is also not a nice guy to his customers. He is cheap, and so it reflects in his decisions. He had two great girls working counter when they opened this summer, but both are gone. Hired another, and she is gone. Now onto number 4 or 5(or more). About a girl a month. It is easy to see why. Like the gentleman below, you pay for one thing and get another, and if you tell the owner, he is «too bad». He is losing a customer over a $ 1 item. I ordered two egg rolls for $ 4, and got a spring roll(which was gross) for $ 1. I asked the girl immediately about it, and she said it was the same thing, and then sat there for 3 minutes(until the spring roll was done) before going back and asking the owner about it. When he came out, I told him I ordered the egg rolls and he said that I «got what I paid for. Sorry» and then wanted me to leave. I took my order of teriyaki, and wanted to put srirachi on it, and he got upset, turned off the lights, and told me they had sauces to go up front. Nobody told me! Sorry, owner dude! If you go in the last 30 minutes or so, you can only get your order to go. He won’t tolerate anyone enjoying their meal. The place would be so much better if the ass of an owner was not present. Veronica and(I think) Vicky were awesome at customer service. He should bring them back instead of hiring bozos that mess up your order, and he should be a man about it, and fix the order to make it right when his bozo employee messes up. I hope it was worth losing a customer over.

We ordered chicken teriyaki with yakisoba noodles on the side instead we got chicken yakisoba noodles .the chicken was mixed with the noodles. I am a dietetic and need to eat mostly meat. I told the manager why I could not eat the meal and he refused to get what I originally ordered

Great place to go on a weeknight when you don’t feel like cooking. Dine in or take out. The food here is consistently good. Our family favorites are chicken and Gyoza and the chicken yakisoba.

We love this place! Always hot and fresh to order, everyone is nice and the egg flower soup is awesome! Although there were four people in line ahead of me and they asked every person if they wanted a punch card but never asked me even though I come in all the time … Finally got one! Five more stamps to go!

*** Don’t ask for a punch card… they dont offer them anymore. Good thing I have been going there since they opened and was never told about one*** I recently changed this from 4 to 3 stars… This is based on my own experiences as well as what I have read on here from other paying customers… I highly suggest that the owner takes the hint from several of the people who pay his overhead and start being nicer to his customers. Nobody is saying that you have to play«super host» and run around talking to all of your customers, but a little smile or positive attitude goes a long way. Your operating hours are posted for a reason. If you do not want people dining in 30 – 45 minutes prior to closing then let people know or post a sign stating so. You seem to be ok taking the customers money 30 minutes prior to closing. Another suggestion is to close an hour earlier and you clean up on your own time for the last hour. You cant have it both way. Well, you can, but you obviously are burning some bridges. Most everything else out here for food options suck! I have worked out here for almost 10 years and used to go to Teriyaki king. They give me the creeps there and the people arent friendly. They glare at you when you want to pay by credit card. On top of that, the value isnt very good. At Ichi Teriyaki 23 the girls working seem to be very nice but they have burned through a lot of them This is eading me to believe once again that nobody wants to work for this guy. I give them credit for their food. It is good. They have large portions and the spicy chicken lunch special is delicoius. A good portion of chicken, two large mounds of rice, a salad, and some complimentary egg noodle soup. A little attitude adjustment and this place could find itself dominating the teriyaki scene in outer S.E.

Great teriyaki, you can tell the ingredients are fresh. And the free egg flower soup when you dine in, absolutely delicious! I’ve gone back twice just for that soup! The fact that their regular menu items are also fresh and delicious is just a plus!

Good food. You get salad instead of veggies. Dine in orders also get free soup. The soup is the best I have had at a «fast food» joint. The dressing I think is miso based and has a lot of flavor. The salad itself was fresh and crisp. Between the soup, salad, rice and gyoza I had in my meal I was stuffed at the end. The drinks are only a dollar with free refills and they have a punch card. Free entrée after 10 purchases.
