Jade Acupuncture

I decided to explore Portland on foot by myself yesterday and felt it would be nice to treat myself to a massage. I came across jade acupuncture here on Unilocal.I entered as a walk in customer and the lovely therapist working there said she would be happy to squeeze me in for a cupping session.
I was eager to try as I never have done cupping before and the therapist (I’ve forgotten her name, I’m sorry!) was amazing. So friendly and willing to help. She explained everything to me as I’m a newbie to Chinese medicine. She definitely is professional and knowledgeable in her field.
I feel great after my session and hope to return for more treatment.

I was in and out of the hospital for almost a year for digestive issues and was not getting any answers or feeling any better until I went to Jade Acupuncture and saw Andrea. Before I went there I was not able to keep any solid food down. I have been seeing Andrea for a few months now and have been able to keep more foods down and progressively getting better! I love how she really cares about me and is always giving me new suggestions for things I can be trying. I would recommend anyone to Jade Acupuncture especially for internal issues see Andrea!

I have seen several acupuncturists in this city and I would rank Andrea Peruzzi at Jade as one of the best. She looks young but is very knowledgeable in many areas of Chinese medicine. She is very thorough and also quite pleasant! She has helped me with my digestive issues tremendously. I definitely recommend her to anyone.

I started seeing Helen about 5 months ago, and have seen her once a week ever since. She is incredibly professional, great at what she does, and the results have been phenomenal! I began seeing Helen for a number of issues, which included anxiety, intestinal health, and chronic headaches. The progress that I have seen in each of these areas is truly a testament to Helen as an individual, and also to Chinese Medicine as a whole. Thinking outside of the box, and looking at Chinese Medicine with an open mind was the first step, and is what inspired me to set up my initial appointment.
Over the course of the year prior, I visited 12 different specialists, spent thousands of dollars, and saw NO results from traditional Western medicine. Repeated testing was done, many different hypotheses were given, but still I saw no change in my symptoms. After visiting Jade Acupuncture for the first time, Helen gave the first hypothesis that made any sense, and thus, we began a treatment schedule that reflected her theory. As I said, the results have been phenomenal.
I would recommend Helen to anyone, and am truly a believer in Chinese Medicine. Acupuncture can be used to treat a number of different symptoms or ailments, so give Helen at Jade Acupuncture a call to figure out the best course of action for yourself!

Helen Spieth at Jade Acupuncture is the best result I have ever gotten from a Google search! I was looking for an acupuncturists that specialize in PTSD /​trauma and Helen was one of only a few that came up here in Portland.
I didn’t have any knowledge of acupuncture or Classical Chinese medicine when I first started so I went more on a gut feel when I chose Helen over the others. Over the past year I have learned quite a bit about both from her. Her knowledge, professionalism and caring goes above and beyond what you normally get from a healthcare provider. She has also been able to make referrals of other types of health professionals that have contributed to my healing.

Helen Speith, LAC treated me for a variety of issues. Her blend of professionalism with kind hearted empathy makes for a truly healing and connected experience. I noticed results within the first few treatments to my surprise — I’ll admit I still had some lingering doubts about the effectiveness of acupuncture — needless to say because of Helen’s care my opinion has changed. I highly recommend.

Clarissa Smith has truly been the best acupuncturist I have had the chance to work with and I have seen quite a few. I moved into a different neighborhood so its been a while since i have seen her but I had seen her for a good 7 years previously. She helped me a lot with my woman stuff and we did some good detox things. She gets to the point with her treatments has a lovely space and is really great with Chinese herbs. She also does micro current treatments which are awesome

Helen Spieth at Jade is incredible. In addition to her needle work, she is incredibly knowledgeable about Chinese herbs and was able to find a formula to help me quite a bit with the horrible acid reflux I’ve had for years. Her acupuncture did wonders for my low back pain. She’s very kind, thorough, and accommodating. You can tell she deeply cares about her clients and getting to the root of the problem. I’m lucky to have found her. Highly recommend her and Jade Acupuncture.

I was new to the idea of acupuncture but I became a fan. It seemed to change things around that I couldn’t explain (not being trained). Clarissa gave me some valuable information that helped me understand in a simple way the hows and whys of this healing method. I also had a great massage. I’ll be back.
