Received my first of three UltraShape treatments today with Karli who was absolutely wonderful! She went through every step of the process, keeping me informed and educated on what she was doing and also why. It was 100% painless, totally relaxing and she did an amazing job. She informed me of aftercare instructions to help achieve the best results and scheduled me for my next two treatments. Thanks Karli!!!

I have been going to Key Laser Institute over the years for various procedures, from Botox and fillers to Clear and Brilliant. From the time you walk in the door, where you are greeted by their amazing front desk staff, until the time you leave, you are made to feel special. My most recent procedure entailed some discomfort and Kathy was right by my side the entire time with soothing words and hand to squeeze. Allie explained the entire procedure before hand, so I knew exactly what to expect, but it was so nice having a room full of empathy every step of the way. Doctor Key is simply the best! He is honest, has an abundance of knowledge and a desire for your success.
I have always been happy with my results.

Dr. Key and his staff are absolutely wonderful. He is an expert in all cosmetic procedures and has years of experience. The office is beautiful and very efficiently run. If you’re in Portland or its surrounding areas, this is the only place to go!

After having a baby and passing 40 a few years back I looked in the mirror and felt it was time to get on the «chase youth train.» I mean I’m on board with my overnight bag and am digging in! So I heard about Dr. Key and decided to check him out to see what he thought he could do to erase the damage of time. First of all the man could not be any nicer. You get his FULL attention and there is no feeling of being rushed. He actually makes you feel like he has all day to sit with you and chat about your needs/​wants. He’s knowledgable, kind, honest and very comforting. After my consultation I had a «to-​do» list. I thought things over and decided to start out slow so I went for the Botox. First time and HELLO! Now I get it. The stuff works. I plan to chip away at my list and will go to Dr. Key for it all. I love the clean and friendly office space, his adorably goofy staff (I mean goofy in a good fun way) and the fact that no one there looks like that creepy lady who cosmetically turned herself into a melting cat. If you want someone who knows how to make you look a bit younger and fresher without making you look like a creep go to Dr. Key!

Summer 2012 I had laser tattoo removal on two tattoos as well as one of there laser liposuction options.
With the laser liposuction, I did read and sign a waiver that said some people may see no diffrence. My husband and I both agree we never saw a diffrence in my abdomen. Maby it is more for women with more belly fat then me!!! For $ 2000dlls I can say I was very disapointed, but then again what can I say I was warned. Should have saved and got real lipo or tummy tuck ect.
With the tattoo removal I was way happyer althoe still a bit of a let down. I do not rember what I was charged. But the one tattoo on my butt cheek (black with pink) after a few years is about 50% lighter with only one session of removal! I say after a few years because for almost a year after the procedure both my tattoos colors were darker. This kept me from going in for another session initially.
My second tattoo I had one session on has (orange and blue) I can barley see a diffrence. But it was a cover up so.
The staff was very friendly and nice! Loved Dr. Key! I felt like all the staff were personal friends, I felt so comfy but, I could see how some might not like so much attention!!!
Because of the staff, Dr. Key, LOCATION! and how happy I am about the one tattoo, I will be going back…

Dr. Key and his staff are extremely professional and considerate. Dr. Key takes the time to explain and re-​explain if you don’t understand. I went through the Ultherapy and I think the Pelleve and although it did not tighten and lift as much as I would have liked certainly helped and I wish I could got back for more. I highly recommend Key Laser Institute Dr. Key really cares!

I have been going to Key Laser for about 3 years and love the results. They may be a little spendy but they don’t water down the botox and all the technicians are very well trained.

I had a laser peel on my face about 9 years ago when in my early sixties and the results were fabulous. Dr. Key is very professional and caring. The procedure took 5 weeks to heal but it was worth it.
People expecting miraculous results please… get real as not all procedures work for all people At my age of now 71, I do not think I would try any more procedures expecting the same results. I am now easing into my age.

About two years ago I had PDT treatment for my mild acne. It was very expensive (2 procedures ran me $ 1400) and they said while it wouldn’t be a permanent solution, it would clear up my acne for at least 6 months to 2 years. Less than 4 months later my skin was worse than ever and it’s been a struggle since. The doctor is also super creepy and totally rude and the receptionists are also super rude and made me feel really uncomfortable. Total waste of money.

I love this palce! The RN Shellie is amazing she is always on time and really knows what she is doing. She also explains everything that she is going to do and makes you feel very comfortable. Being in the Esthetic industry myself I would highly recommend Key Laser Institute.

I found out about Key Laser Institute by way of «Groupon». My main interest was in getting rid of hard-​to-​lose belly fat. I read about Laser Lipolysis. Then met with Dr Key, and made the decision to have this procedure. The experience, though scary, in that you’re awake throughout, was amazing and not painful. My recovery was pretty easy — I had a couple of weeks of minor discomfort.
I’m very happy with the outcome and would recommend this to anyone. Dr Key and his staff are professional, respectful and friendly.

Key Laser Institute worked with me on a tattoo removal. They have a very nice treatment facility that is easy to access and wonderful staff! I highly recommend them for this procedure!

Dr. Key and his staff are amazing! I have had acne since I was 9, and not just mild acne. I’m talking full blown cystic acne, huge whiteheads, and tons of blackheads. I had tried everything, from over the counter products to infomercial products and then Dermatologist after Dermatologist. I have used Differin, Retin-​A, clindamycin, tetracycline, tazorac, and even Accutane. The Accutane kept my acne at bay until my 20’s which was when it came back with a vengeance, and I became tired of the same old Rx medicines.
I found Dr. Key online back before Unilocal or Citysearch were ever popular. I talked to their staff through email, and after they were so professional and helpful I decided to make an appointment.
The clinic is far from where I live (Vancouver) but it’s so worth it! It’s in a medical building and not a strip mall, it has a real Dr doing procedures, and the clinic is very clean. The staff was also super friendly and answered all my questions!
Dr. Keys was very honest with me when we met for our consultation and decided on a treatment plan. The Cooltouch Laser with IPL afterwards to help heal and reduce scaring. Well it worked! My skin was wonderful and clear for not only while my treatments were ongoing but for long afterwards!
My Mom was so impressed she also had several laser treatments, and then a laser lipo lift on her chin and jowls. She seriously looks 8 years younger than her age!
I have since had a second round of acne laser treatments with Dr. Key and his staff, and would definitely have another round if I were in the financial position to do so right now.
I would recommend Dr. Key and his staff indefinitely. Not only are they professionals but they are leaders in their industry and you can trust they aren’t some strip mall «medical spa,» with no attending Dr like so many spas you see today. You would be in very capable hands if you choose Key Laser Institute!

Dr. Key and his staff are just simply the best. I did research for about one year before choosing this doctor — he’s one of the most highly respected professionals in this industry. Laser manufacturers approach Dr. Key specifically to get feedback on new equipment. He fixes laser mistakes made by other doctors — this was huge for me.
The type of laser you get is not as important as the person wielding it. Dr. Key is a true artist and I trust him 100%. He understands the complexity of laser treatments and customized the plan for me and my needs.
Yes, he’s more expensive than the others. When it comes to laser surgery, though, why would you settle for less than the best?

Made an appointment here for tattoo removal. The offices were very clean and the staff was friendly. The procedure was a little more spendy than I was expecting but it was worth it and they were quick. I was happy with the results, and would recommend this place to others.
