I just visited Portland and was running out of gas in this part of town when I saw this gas station. The customer service I received from the staff was just outstanding! They even went out of their way to give me some tips about the best restaurants in the area. I was also impressed with the wine selection they had. You can tell that the manager and staff take good care of this store and care about their customers!

My son has certain anxieties including wanting to be picked up or dropped off on time and worrying about running out of gas. And so it was on a recent Sunday when we were tooling around the Alphabet District and the needle was close the E mark.
I knew I was good for at least another 10 miles, but knew that the Kid wouldn’t quiet down until I put some Petrol in the tank. Service Station locations weren’t readily apparent and Lovejoy Chevron was the first one that we happened on. After leaving with a fuller tank, we then passed by the Astro Station that was selling gasoline ~20 cents a gallon cheaper. Oh well, I guess that’s the price of Shalom Bayit.

This is the convenience store at the Chevron gas station. I go fairly often since it’s a block from my apartment, and at the 21st & Lovejoy street car stop. It’s basically your typical little store. Nothing fancy or outstanding, just convenient.
