5 stars should be for when you’re completely WOWed by an experience right? Conversely, when you find nothing to criticize, nothing to take away from your experience, what’s left but the best rating you can give?
It’s hard to get WOWed when you’re dealing with non-​critical medical ANYthing. Easy to fall in love when you’re in pain and a practitioner administers pain relief, but not so much when you’re getting shoe orthotics that are going to provide long term incremental benefit to your life. Such is my story here.
The HUGE plus of my multiple trips here has been Bob. Yep, Bob’s my guy. On our first meeting when he told me he simply would not make the orthotics for me (a waste of $ 280) if I wouldn’t agree to stop wearing heals until my foot was in better condition, I was taken aback. He grew on me. I agreed to his conditions, got my orthotics, and now have less pain in a foot that likely will never return to its former state.
It’s not as if you’ll get a choice of companies to deal with if a doctor tells you to get an orthotic, but you’ll very reasonable treatment here.

I’ve been coming here for years, and Ken Perkins is absolutely fantastic. I actually travel all the way from DC to Portland just to see him! I highly recommend!
