Overpriced, racist, nepotism. But if you’re open minded enough to disregard all that, consider disgruntled workers that throw sablndwiches, play the odds, knowing that all complaints get thrown into the central file. Even when I use the restroom and find a heroin addict drying his sweaty hair under the hamd dryer, leaving a frigging needle in the toilet. GREATPLACE! 10:45, Wednesday, June 1st!

This has got to be one of the slummiest McDonald’s I have ever seen. I go here from time to time for their French fries(yes, I know, I need help) but seriously, it is just gross. Most of their customers are homeless, that also deals illegal items(don’t know what, but I actually happen to see some people passing stuff to each other all shady-like) and the staff that works here, not only let this happen in front of them, but also, makes fun of these same customers, right in front of their faces. They have a sign that says customers can only stay 20 minutes the most, but nobody implements it. Seriously, if you’re hankering for McDonald’s fries, you do not want to get it from here. Not unless, you’re willing to buy food also for the legally wasted young homeless people who are more fit to work than you.

Pros: — All the basics are in stock, unlike that other location downtown — Walk-up window gives you pancakes until 4AM — European tourists sometimes come by and sing the national anthem on the weekends — A for effort — Fun if you’re a fan of The Walking Dead – Slow zombies – Fast zombies – Soon-to-be zombies Cons: — Not fun if you don’t like zombies — If you want your order filled properly you have to speak Spanish — When you inevitably return to correct the order you’ll be waiting for an opening in the constant stream of drive-thru traffic — As this is perhaps the most tolerant«restaraunt» in the country, it and the employees within(who are likely all related) have to deal with a lot more shit than you or I, and as a result may not always have their wits about them, even compared to the nearby stoner-run Starbucks Overall, an average McDonald’s experience that counterbalances its high points with its extremely low points, such as just how badly they can fuck up your food(which sometimes contains ingredients found in incompatible menu items), and of course the usual things that people point out about this location. My last experience was a 1⁄5 for remedial-level language comprehension and a rather unorthodox attempt at a mocha. Previous experiences have typically been 3⁄5.

This McDonald’s is the laughing stock of the town. McDonald’s absolutely more than has its place in the world, due to the meticulous ingenuity of the company. There are lots of unsavory characters inside. Even they would be better off going to a convenience store, even price wise. Downtown near Pioneer Square has a McDonald’s better than this. I went here. The usual food is here, whatever that maybe to you. I generally give McDonald’s three stars. The convenience and seating is still here as opposed to the overwhelmingly culinary superiority of our food carts. Overall, Portland has better and the neighborhood the McDonald’s is in certainly has better. Elephant’s Deli has some inexpensive things if you look well enough. Only go here if you are starving.

This was a first time I’ve came here and so surprised that I need to spend $ 0.25 for small buffalo sauce box. I have not heard about it before in other McDonald’s restaurant. Is it correct?

Sketch as fuck. I know I’m not saying anything new when I say that but bloody hell McDonald’s corporation, get a grip on this skank-magnet of a property. McDonald’s lack of accountability makes it a detriment to my neighborhood and that pisses me off. I will only go through the drive through(locked doors) if I have a mad and uncontrollable craving for fries. It happens. But there’s always a crowd of homeless and druggies milling around this joint and frankly, they aren’t harmless, they are aggressive and obnoxious. I live just down the street and they are the same jerks that break into my car all the fucking time. This location needs a bouncer for the doors and security to keep the degenerates at bay. If all businesses in Portland would step up and stop letting the homeless threaten their customers Portland wouldn’t be such a Mecca for them. McDonald’s needs to stop being part of the problem and stand up for itself, its customers and be a good neighbor. 2015 — Review # 90

By and far the worst fast food experience Ive ever had. I guess if you like ordering your kid a happy meal while a homeless drug addict yells at you while fondling himself next to your car, then you might like this place. I was here a few months back and got asked for money on the way out of the drive thru, no big deal, it happens. Tonight though was a whole new deal. It looks like I’m not alone by reading more Unilocal reviews. To top it off the employee said there was no toy for the happy meal, no explanation like«we ran out» or «sorry, we will have some tomorrow»…Just a «No!». Then he asked me to repeat my order… all the while, nearly naked homless guy is making obsene sounds and is rubbing himself several feet from my car looking at me. Yeah… I don’t see how this place stays in business. I would give it zero/negative stars if I could. I’ll never return. and it further adds to my negative view of Mcdonalds in general. Stay away… keep driving. Owner: Hire some security guards to clean the place up and get some happy meal toys, not really much to ask?

First of all, I use to avoid this restaurant, because of the«Clientele» it attracted, but after a few visits here, I couldn’t help but notice that the food is always fresh and hot! Also, the place seemed surprisingly clean! The staff are always friendly and greet you with a smile! I’ve had MUCH worse service/food at 5 star restaurants! This must be a challenging place to work because of its location! I’m impressed! I’ve totally changed my mind about this McDonalds and can’t wait to go back! Keep up the good work!

An absolutely unapologetic rude and all around bad service. Especially the dumb fat female latina who thinks she is fucking white that works the afternoon shift. She incorrectly gives the wrong order and never apologizes, just slams the window in front of you! WTF! Spoke with the manager and fucking nothing happened! and to top it off she had the audacity to tell me what to eat! I dont’t think the other fucker who gave five stars know what she is getting. Just another illegal immigrant who should be working here! GETOUT!

Great place for the local homeless hangout. You can watch the people dealing outside. I will never go back here, only did that for my son.

I understand that everyone gets to eat and that many people are less fortunate that I am right now. But, I do not appreciate it, when all I want is a cheap burger and fries on the run, that I have to navigate through so many difficult human obstacles. From obscenities being yelled, to being asked for change to being hounded at my little fast food table. I now understand why so many people looking for the quick fix I also needed may opt for the drive through. Will not be coming back, as Taco Bell is a couple blocks away and just as sleazy a late night food-fix.

no issues with the food. Staff was very nice; especially when taking this location into consideration. one star due to the fact this location is being used as a Grand Central for drug addicts and its affiliated crowds. both interior; exterior and bathrooms(or should I say washrooms?). It is really as bad and sketchy as in the other reviews. However this does not stop me from returning here. corporate; If you are reading this I strongly suggest having a security officer at this site for a while. A bad rep(or worse) is much harder to fight than a good one.

I love McDonald’s but this particular one on Burnside and 19th st in Portland, OR is the worst I have ever seen and should be shut down to protect McDonald’s reputation. Granted Portland is a mecca for druggies and bums of all types but McDonald’s should relocate this restaurant to a safe part of town. Forget bums and begging druggies outside, they were also inside. A car full of druggies pulled up in parking lot then one jumped out and stole the can of oil someone was getting ready to put in their car. The men’s bathroom had no stall for toilet area and no lock for the door. Either run the bums off or shut your doors to protect the public. I give one star only because it is the minimum. I would pick –0 if possible.

Ordered 2 sausage egg mcmuffins along with some other stuff… I know cuz I had to ask them to correct it from«egg mcmuffin» to «sausage mcmuffin» on the screen they so conveniently employ at the drive thru. Instead i recieved egg mcmuffins with canadian bacon. You can understand how upset i was when i got home to find my pork in the wrong form. I called them up since im in the hospitality industry and just wanted to give them the opportunity to correct the mistake for future sausage egg mcmuffin orderers of america and instead i get antonio the manager on the phone arguing with me about what I ordered. I know what I ordered cuz I was there when I ordered it! We went round and round for 4 minutes which is a long time when you consider the subject matter and the fact that i didnt want anything in return for my phone call. I finally hung up and decided to write this review cuz I think its silly. Wont be back to this location anytime soon.

Definitely ridiculous that McDonald’s allows the homeless community to hang out here at this location. No matter where I looked there was a homeless, sketchy mofo just waiting to make me a victim. Don’t leave anything of value in your car. Do not eat inside at this location. Homeless inside as well. If you must visit this location, do the drive thru. Personally? I’d avoid this place at all costs. McDonald’s corporate, if you’re listening, here is my recommendation: start pushing the riff raff out of the restaurant. Next, start calling the police so that these people won’t loiter here. You’ve got a mess on your hands at this spot. Good luck.

I wouldn’t normally waste my time with a review of a fast food restaurant, because really, when are the expectations ever very high? But this location is so bad I thought it was important for other future victims to know how low the bar is set at this location. First things first, homeless people surround this location like it’s the zombie apocalypse. As in, literally every side of the business and inside as well. The cashier didn’t seem to speak any English and struggled to communicate with me with a basic thing such as «I’ll have a number 15.» Pretty simple stuff. Chicken McNuggets were cold, disgusting and dry. Had probably been prepared 30 minutes or so earlier. Coke had zero carbonation in it. Mmm, flat syrup water. Without a doubt the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever encountered.

This is not a good one. I enjoy my sausage burritos and my value items. When other Micky dees are not as expensive nearby why pay the mall price here at a non mall location? Why so expensive here?

It’s a McDonald. but it’s on Burnside. Sketchy as hell. There’s always a bunch of transients, hooligans and tweakers hanging out on walkway and I didn’t feel safe. You can’t get to the entrace door without walking on these walkways, so walking squeezing in between some druggies hanging out on either sides is unavoidable. Today, there was about 8 of them hanging about, some smoking pot, some sitting around and I got asked for money. I always feel like I’m going to get mugged like I’m walking on the streets of South Central LA at night. The inside is quite spacious yet again, there’s always some sketchy looking people hanging out. Apparently store mangement does not do enough to prevent hooligans from loitering about on premises. I would avoid this location unless you’re rolling up to the drive thru in your locked car.

yeaaaah!!! mechanically separated chicken!!! You can get cheap food and a free show at this Mickey DEEZ. Homeless street fights, drug exchanges out front, people bathing in the bathrooms. This is the new hot spot ever since the downtown BK closed down. Chicken nuggets and speed in one place.

Fuck all of you, five flaming stars for my chicken nuggets at 3 am okay. idgaf how drunk you are, whatever you are on, whatever your problem is, McDonalds welcomes you and yours at whatever hour of the night you need some steaming buttery french fries. if this country were more welcoming like this one mcdonalds was, we’d live in some socialist utopia for lard-asses and meth heads, all together as one, the lion and the lamb, etc, all of us together eating one giant chicken nugget dipped in barbeque sauce
