No sno-balls until May. :-(Oh well, the red beans and rice & sweet tea were delicious! And Miss Gator couldn’t be any sweeter herself!

The most authentic Cajun restaurant in all of Oregon. This restaurant is better than Acadia bistro, Parrish, and montage all in one. Cannot find a better taste of Louisiana anywhere else in Oregon.

This is the best surprise in SW Portland. There is no end to the delightful flavor combinations! Everything I’ve tried has been delicious. Even my dog loves Mrs Gators New Orleans style sno balls!

First encounter with Miss Gator Sno-Balls today and so happy to have had the chance to taste the Tiger’s Blood. A delicious combination of strawberry and coconut. I can’t wait to visit the Beaverton location.

Fantastic! My husband is born and raised in New Orleans and I lived there for 13 years and we have been waiting for a place like this. Very authentic and delicious. So glad to have found it. I had the strawberry and my kids had cherry/grape and bubble gum/cotton candy. Try them with condensed milk on top… so good. We will definitely be regular customers. Even have clear flavors for babies/toddlers so it doesn’t get too messy. Awesome place!

I give these folks a 5 star recommendation just for opening a real Sno Ball stand with a real SnoWizard machine in Oregon. I live in nearby Multnomah Village and can’t wait to get my first Sno Balls outside the New Orleans area. As a kid, I worked for Sal’s Sno Balls in Metairie, Louisiana. We had 50 flavors. Mr Sal also sold Manuel’s Hot Tamales. There was always 3 windows with 3 long lines of people yearning for some cold deliscious relief on a hot sticky NO Summerday. Thank you Miss Gator — — Hoping you have some real hot weather this Summer in PDX.

A great refreshing treat! I loved the opportunity to taste some different flavors so that I could choose what suited my mood! Next time, I think I’ll try the sour cap option!

A plethora of flavors that are much better than the typical flavored syrups at your average shaved ice stand. Katy lets you sample any flavors you want. My favorite so far is the peach. It tastes like eating a real peach. A large peach snowball from here is the perfect finish for your meal from the next door taco truck, or just a damn good place to get your shaved ice fix.

Katy’s snowballs are great. There are plenty of flavors to choose from, including some interesting flavors. She mentioned that she is interested in buying more. She is also a sweetheart. Go here and enjoy a snowball!

I visited Miss Gator(Katy) during the first week she set up shop off Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway and Western Ave. I cannot even explain how much I enjoy eating a delicious sno-ball, especially during this hot weather. Miss Gator told us she makes her own syrup and has sourced a supplier in New Orleans that has been making flavors for 80 years. The flavors are amazing! My favorite flavors are: ice-cream, dreamsicle, Cajun red-hot, chamoy, cherry, silver-fox, and lemon.(Katy is generous with the flavor samples to help you decide!) I totally recommend Miss Gator’s if you want a fun experience and a delicious treat.(She even does private parties too, which would be really fun!)
