I love shoving meat in my mouth, and cured meat is no exception. The NW location for Olympia Provisions is a lot more low-key than its original counterpart, but if it’s immediate seating during prime brunch hours versus a 45 minute wait, then I am ALL. FOR. IT. A friend and I split a charcuterie board, specifically the Spanish one — all of the components might be(and probably will be) different for each visit, but just letting you know that this is the good stuff. Everything is cured so beautifully, just the perfect balance of lean and fat with bread as the perfect vehicle. One slightly less-than-intelligent choice at OP: in addition to the charcuterie board, we both decided to order a fried egg sandwich each, which consists of a split biscuit housing smoked trout, bacon, cream cheese, and arugula with a side of chips. I have probably never been more miserable than I was after finishing the sandwich, but not because it was bad — it was really tasty, actually — it’s just that it’s SO. MUCH. FOOD. I was already quite full after splitting half the board with my friend, and the sandwich just pushed me over the edge into food coma territory. Had we split the sandwich, we probably would have been just fine, but a whole sandwich and a ton of chips? Just way too much. Regardless of how we felt afterwards, the food here is executed very well, and I can imagine that if I had a place like this back home, I’d be rolling out of the restaurant at least once a month.

Meat Heaven! After a disappointing stop at OP Wurst, I wasn’t sure what to expect from Olympia Provisions. Located in the far corner of the Alphabet District, it was a bit of a walk and pretty isolated in terms of other restaurants. The industrial space has a clean and bright décor and I liked the combination of butcher shop, souvenir shop, and restaurant combination. We came for dinner and started right away. Our order: Spanish Charcuterie Board — $ 18. A delicious selection of Spain’s best from jamon, lomo, and salami to chorizo. Nicely paired with delicious almonds and peppers. Mmmmmm… smoked meats. Bone Marrow — $ 14. Mega sized bone marrow served with a nice red onion jam and plentiful sliced baguettes. Bone marrow isn’t hard to prepare but it’s delicious. Steak Tartare — $ 12. Absolutely awesome preparation with a full egg yolk that we mixed completely in the ultra fresh steak tartare. I’ve had many preparations that are too heavy on the capers or red onions, but this was perfect. Delicious. Rotisserie Prime Rib — $ 36. People rave about this dish, but it was ok for me. I love prime rib. My criticism was that it just wasn’t seasoned and salted enough for me. I love a salty crust(just ask for the ends at House of Prime Rib SF) and love horseradish(which they kindly provided). It was good, but given their expertise in curing and salting, I expected more flavor bomb. Blueberry Compote — fantastic dessert and a perfect end to a very meat centric meal with some sweet fruit. Overall, a great meal here. Service was friendly and casual and the food was superb. I would try the chicken instead of the prime rib as I think chicken is better in a rotisserie than a prime rib. I bought some deli meats and also cured salami and pepper sticks to go. All delicious. OP is the real deal despite the OP Wurst hiccup. Olympia Provisions accepts credit cards including Amex.

Food was great, but service was really disappointing. I don’t like to downgrade a restaurant because of service, but service should be on par. After waiting for an hour my husband had to ask the waitress where the food was. She swiftly brought it out… was it just waiting there? I heard another waiter tell another table that their mains were going to take long. I wish our waitress communicated that with us… but she didn’t.

These glorious meats bring me back to living in Germany as a child. I live in Alaska now and don’t have access to authentic European sausages so I order their sausages online. My wife and I are down taking a trip to see the redwoods so I had to make a trip to come visit the shop in person. Everything here is done perfectly and the staff are all very nice. Highly recommended!

Went yesterday– huevos off the menu. Such a bummer! Apparently people were complaining about how cold it was. Pre warn people about the temp and please bring it back– it’s delicious! We’re going to look elsewhere for our brunch fix. I’m not much of a Benedict person and the rest of the offerings don’t look as tasty. Total bummer!

This is probably my favorite brunch spot in Portland. I don’t normally go for traditional eggs Benedict(I’m not into the ham) but the sweetheart ham at Olympia Provisions is to die for. And their laser cut potatoes, pancakes, etc. every meal I’ve had was exceptional — they have a variety of eggs Benedict — the traditional is my favorite but the prime rib Benedict is excellent as is the country Benedict.

This place deserves 5 stars for sure. Dined here, it’s a perfect place for a quiet dinner, with lots of great choices and excellent service! The lamb was perfection and served with a unique and tasty combination of vegetables. Another winner was the prime rib. They have a great wine selection as well. Located off the beaten path, and well worth it!

How do I even begin to describe the epic proportions of awesomeness that are contained in Olympica Provisions? Carnivores and omnivores alike will delight in the high quality and delicious spread of animal-based delicacies on offer including sublime foie gras and more different types of cured meats and sausages than an Italian deli in Brooklyn. Olympic provisions has clearly been indoctrinated to the witchcraft sweeping the PDX food scene that allows restaurants make octopus melt in your mouth. I can’t say how they do it but after experiencing it first at Aviary, now here, I’m a huge fan. The selection of wines and beers to pair with your chosen bounty of animal flesh is remarkable. It’s easy to see why this is one of the hotter restaurants in PDX. Go for the Marrow, it’s sublime.

I really enjoyed this location and how bright and open the building is. The service as prompt and friendly. I would recommend getting one of their lovely adult beverages. The breakfast was also worth the wait. If you don’t want to wait get there early or make a reservation!

I’m a sucker for a good charcuterie plate. I’m also a sucker for a good Saison. Olympic Provisions has both. Love that they are located away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Service was sub-par– they weren’t busy but we were ignored quite a bit. Maybe just a bad day? Irregardless, that doesn’t stop me when I love the menu. Overall, the atmosphere is inviting and casual. Will definitely be back!

Olympia Provisions(or OP) is a favor you owe your tastebuds. Whether for dinner, lunch, or brunch, this is one of the quintessential Portlandia restaurants you need to try. All of their meets(*all*) are cured and/or roasted on-site, and all of them are fantastic. We went for the late brunch option most recently and split our plates between the salami and cotto sandwich and the chicken salad sandwich and both were excellent choices. I’d also recommend their soups and salads – especially the Endive Salad: a great mix of citrus and blue crumbles blending out the rest of the plate. Even for something as easy as sandwich, you can tell all of the materials are made as fresh as possible. Drinks are also great; a nice mix of wines and cocktails, though a bit limited on draft beers. OP would also be a great choice for a drink and some small plates before a show or larger dinner event…

Seated at reservation time=5 stars Chicken=5 stars(although served lukewarm but still delicious) Chicory salad=5 stars Spaetzle=2 Stars-sausage on top=5 stars Pork dish=0 stars. it came cold and took 25 minutes to reheat, which much have been microwaved. It came back lukewarm and tough. My husband couldn’t eat it. They took it off the bill, but nobody came over to express their concern. Our waitress was well trained and knowledgable, but I could tell she didn’t really want to wait on us 4 old people. Her skeleton dress told me she was too punk for us. When I asked about the 2 vegetarian sounding dishes she reminded me the restaurant specialized in meat. Fine, but have something to offer us(mostly not) meat eaters. The service was very slow. Our skeleton dressed waitress was also the bartender, which I might add were 5 star cocktails. However, she was just too busy to give us her full attention. The space is great and people seemed to be very happy. Not sure we will be back due to the unevenness of the food and service time.

Just ate here for brunch, why has it taken me so long? Met up with some friends and were seated at a community table.(Never phases me) Even though the menu wasn’t HUGE it was still an insanely hard decision on what to eat! Their toast is heavenly. It’s kind of like a brioche meets Japanese style bread. I think it was just brioche though… I get carried away. Regardless, try their toast with house made jam it is a classic done right. I got the flapjack eggs bene, it came with a potato quiche-y thing that was tasty but the main dish was divine. Their pancakes were super soft and fluffy and it was sooo perfect with the savory egg and ham. Like most times I leave a brunch place I was wishing I bought the french toast too but I can’t over indulge in front of friends — thats for when I go with just my boyfriend because he’s already commited to this human whale inside a personal trainers body ;) Anyways, can’t wait to go back. Must go when visiting or living in Portland.

Okay, 10000% best brunch of my life. We made reservations because we heard it gets busy. We went there a bit before opening and there was already 10 people in line! The NW location isn’t too big, so good thing we had a reservation. Anyways, food. The beignets with the lemon curd sauce is h e a v e n l y. The brunch cocktails are so good. The brisket benedict. was omg just melt in your mouth fantastic. The laser cut potatoes are so buttery and perfect. My friend and I were only halfway through the meal when we unanimously decided this was the best brunch we’d ever had. The cherry on top? We didn’t realize Portland didn’t tax food or drinks. So great. All I can say, is go. You will not be sorry.

Dinner last night at Olympia provisions Northwest was damn near perfect. Their steak tartare is on point, as was the Italian charcuterie board. My glass of Cote du Rhone was superb and bursting with berry flavor. Desserts were most inventive with a light as a feather chocolate buckwheat cake and a rosemary caramel nut tart. I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed with this dinner — cost was about $ 40 per person including beverages.

We just got there before the brunch crowd showed up and had to sit either at the bar or at the window bc tables were for reservations(fancy status). I was craving eggs Benedict so decided on the ‘classic’ It was super tasty, eggs cooked perfectly, ham was sliced/shredded thin. The hollandaise imo was a bit flavorless. I expect hollandaise to be super buttery and a bit lemony. The potato side that came with it was the mf’n t’s! Seriously absolutely fantastic slice of layered potato and onion pie. The service was top notch as well! Never had an empty cup of coffee:)

Reasonable pricing for charcuterie plates. Simple, quick, and comfortable interior. Good for dropping by before or after tea next door at Smith Tea. I love that it’s next door to a tea shop because I would pair the two at home often. Many selections of meat and cheese. I was not a huge fan of the cheese choices since they didn’t bring out any cow cheese, but the ones that I had were not bad. Actual lunch here is supposed to be good too. The bratwurst my friends had looked scrumptious, especially with the mound of sauerkraut atop. My other friends and I shared two meat boards and one cheese board among three people as a snack and it worked perfectly. It is the place I’d buy my charcuterie if they have special options that I can’t buy in Seattle.

If you enjoy pork, Olympic Provisions is a place for you. The charcuterie dishes have a variety of pork. I ordered the Chef’s Choice which is the chef’s selection of five meats. The server told me what each of the meats is. To be honest, I did not pay attention to the descriptions since I was preoccupied staring at all the pork and thinking about how I was going to devour them. Each one of them tasted excellent. Naturally, they are salty. However, they have the correct amount of salt so that they are not too salty. I did not eat much and hiked half a day at Silver Falls before I ate lunch at Olympic Provisions. As a result, I fell into the trap of ordering too much and ordered the ham sandwich too. It is one of the best ham sandwiches I have ever eaten. Unfortunately, I filled up on the charcuterie and complimentary bread already so I was only able to eat half the sandwich. I dined at the northwest location but Olympic Provisions also has a southeast location(107SE Washington St). If you are traveling the Portland area and looking for recommendations, please see

Our brunch/lunch at Olympia Provisions NW was definitely one of the best meals we had on our quick Portland trip(although really, I can’t think of a single BAD meal that we had.) Their menu had several mouth-watering items on it, but let me tell you — their charcuterie boards is where its at. The boy and I got our own, respectively(omakase style!). The cocktails they serve up here are pretty mean, too — definitely treat yourself to their Bloody Mary, you won’t regret it. I wish I had an awesome place like this near me, but until then, I can at least order copious amounts of sausage and have it delivered!

I’ve come here for both brunch and dinner and while dinner was amazing, their brunch is the real MVP. First off, this location is the only one I’ve been to and I don’t plan on going to the other one. It’s situated in NW Portland, more on the outskirts though and kinda under a bridge and near some empty warehouses. I love the area because street parking is easy to find and the route I take to get here(Cornell Rd.) is the most scenic way to take coming from Beaverton. Onto the food. When I came for brunch, I was seated right away on a Sunday @ 1230PM which I cannot complain about. Thankfully this restaurant is big and there’s plenty of seating — by the bar, in the back corner room, and two main dining areas in the front. My bf and I ordered 3 plates again, I’m sure more couples do this too, right? We had the beignets with lemon curd sauce to share, and he ordered the Steak Benedict while I went with the Flapjack Benedict. The Flapjack Benedict is perfect for someone who can’t decide between pancakes or an eggs Benedict… or someone who doesn’t like english muffins. The show stopper of our meals was the meat. Being that this is a charcuterie joint, their meats could not be seasoned more perfectly. Every bite I took had the right amount of salt and seasoning. And my pancakes weren’t drenched in hollandaise sauce. All in all, I think I found my go-to brunch spot. All three dishes were certified bangers. And if you like their cured meats so much, they also offer monthly salami delivery so you can get your charcuterie on at home all the time!

The Bloody Mary is spicy and strong and there was lots of it. Washes down savory stuff well. The beignets were warm and fresh off the oven. And the lemon curd was sweet, perhaps a tad too much. I had the eggs benedict with steak. Perfect poached eggs sitting atop English muffins, smothered in hollandaise sauce along with liberal portions of shaved steak. The steak was perfectly done and the overall combo was very tasty. Plus a quite hearty portion for lunch.

Here’s what you need to know: Go for brunch. Get a bloody mary. Eat the steak eggs benedict. You’re welcome. Oh, you want more details Fine. The steak eggs benedict is my singular favorite brunch item in all of Portland. An English muffin topped with arugula, shaved prime rib and of course a poached egg w/hollandaise, this meal will make you question everything else you’ve ever put into your mouth. The laser potatoes on the side round out the meal and guarantee that you’ll leave fat and happy. Also of note? Their lemon curd beignets. I’m not too much of a sweets guy, so a sharable sweet bite before a more savory meal is my ideal situation. These things are definitely delicious and should be on your order. Finally, the atmosphere here is quite nice, and more suited for brunch than their SE location. It’s bright, airy and comfortable. Also, I never really seem to have to wait for a table, which is a standard situation at the SE location. So go here. Eat the food I suggested. Live a happy life. The end.

I wandered through Portland Farmer’s Market at Pioneer Courthouse Square and was immediately tempted by the samples of a new salame of Olympia Provisions Northwest(seasoned with cumin and orange zest). After carefully looking right and left, I snuck a couple more samples, and I was caught! Dio mio! My «captor» turned out to be one of the nicest food stand cashiers/servers ever and encouraged me to have more samples(I have no shame in the face of this quality of salame and had three or four more samples). I suspect that you’ve gathered this review is for Olympia Provisions Northwest’s products sold at their attractive food stand at the above-named farmer’s market. I ordered a wonderful bratwurst on a bun, beautifully seasoned and with great snap on bite, but with no sauerkraut. Don’t know if anyone is going to come get me and drag me away to bratwurst prison, but I sincerely don’t care for sauerkraut(please no rotten apple throwing) except in just a couple of cases. I’m so sorry to not have gotten her name, but the food stand person in charge is simply one of the nicest people I’ve met in awhile(very natural and no artifice). She is very adept at taking food orders from customers, cooking it up, and then serving it up and all the while managing intelligent and witty conversation. I occasionally have trouble chewing gum and walking at the same time, so I was deep in admiration for this social skill. We talked of many things that day, including a shared love of mustard. I know a certain special someone who would like all this, and he doesn’t know it yet, but we are going to Olympia Provisions Northwest(Portland Farmer’s Market is going to be shutting down soon for the season) or trying to find this food stand. It would be a shame to miss out on some great fall sausage opportunities either at Olympia Provisions Northwest or somewhere where this food stand will be with it’s wonderful manager.

5 stars for their charcuterie —-TWO types of pâté(one being pistachio pâté *Am I in heaven?!*), pork shoulder, and chorizo for the Chef’s choice board) 5 stars for their cheese —-We chose a cheese from every cow, sheep, goat 2 stars for the wait for our carbonara(100% they forgot our order but«any moment now» turned out to be 45 minutes) 2 stars for the subpar, tough carbonara crème de la crème of charcuterie, all the charcuterie gods approve.

They might have changed their name, but the quality of the food is still the same. Great place to to try out some meats from their charcuterie plate. I usually have some kind of OP meat in the mix for my DIY charcuterie at home. I usually pick them up from the PSU farmers market. These guys really know what they’re doing.

BEST. BRUNCH.SPOT.EVER although I cannot write one review to complete my entire love for Olympia Provisions, I can say that both locations knock my socks off! Eats:] for brunchy I am a huge fan of eggs Benedict; a beautifully poached egg makes my blood turn to confetti, a tasty tangy hollandaise sauce makes the hairs on my neck dance, and when you throw this on top of a few flap jacks it makes my heels tap uncontrollably! the FLAPJACKATTACK sets my heart to a bass jam session! The Grilled Mortadella sandwich is meaty, juicy and will blast any hangover out of this universe, it’s zippy via dijon, and juicy a la mortadella. skip the bloody mary when you order this, this sandwich is the holy grail of hangover sammies. if you’re already doing brunch be sure to order some pickled veggies and of course do not forget an obligatory bloody mary. Set up:] a little outside sidewalk seating is available at this location. the restaurant is framed with large light gathering windows which makes the space feel warm, they have plenty of space to sit large and small groups. brunch is prime time eats, so setting up some reservations via Unilocal is never a bad idea, even as we came in for our 10am reservations they were already holding down a big wait list. Honorable mention:] free street parking close by and from what I had seen it looks like they can host very large parties in the back with their kitchen, might be a great spot to host a huge celebration!

Yummmm ay!!! I literally threw my bags down at the Hilton and booked it straight to Ollympic Provisions! This has been bookmarked for years and it was aging sitting there, dormant. Off I came and by the time I arrived, bummed that I wasn’t realy that hungry, so I simply couldn’t attack the HH menu with a fury. One simple pork frankfurter please. It came out simply fresh, singing quality, and full of juiciness. Corner table allowed me to take in the entire European feel of the small place. Definitely would return and try more quality proteins… for sure!
