Orkin Pest & Termite Control

We have been getting every-​other month service for around 4 years, and they lost our business, as the quality has plummeted in recent months. I had a service tech come out and not finish the work, so I called the office and asked for someone to come out and finish it. They have been giving me the runaround for 2 weeks and counting. I called to cancel my account and they were indifferent.
There are other things that have been sources of irritation over the years including that there is no direct line to contact the office, their answering machine is often broken, they do not notify clients before canceling service, and they took 3 years to correct my phone number on the account, which meant for that amount of time I never got notice that they were coming to my residence, and often missed them.

I have been an orkin pest control customer for many years. I have two places side by side under one contract. Over the years I cannot tell you how many times they have done one place and not the other. In the past I have even had them do the totally wrong house. Seems like they always have a new teck. They bill you before they do the service and sometimes they call ahead but most of the times they don’t. If you have an issue it is rare they return your call on time or at all. Today I called the 800 number on my statement left by the teck. The phone number was a scam to give you a free cruise. The number on line also did not work. I finally found a number in a local phone book. It seems to me the staff at the office have no power to help a customer with an issue. I keep them because there are not a lot of pest control services in the area. I cannot recommend them.

We had Justin do the initial inspection. He was very professional. We then had Brian Rogers do the initial treatment. He gave up his Sunday, because I never received a call that he was coming. He was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable about Orkin. He did the inspection yesterday, and all was good. Now we can return the house to normal. Great company to work with, the office was very professional and tried their best to accommodate us. Thank you, Brian and Orkin, for a job well done.

We had a flea breakout in our house and had to move into my parent’s place until the little bastards were killed. I called Orkin and was told that they would be out the next day. I live on an island so I was very happy to hear this, though I did know that they service where we live. The next day, no one showed up. I called and was told that they weren’t coming for two and a half weeks! They never called me to say this! In the end, I called Sterling Insect Control and they were happy to make things happen. I should have called them first I guess!
The fact is that I never once received a call from Orkin saying that «No, after all, they can’t come» They just dropped the ball and let me think that they were still on their way. I will never use them and will let everyone know how we were treated.
