I was grossed out at the thought of having shoulder replacement — it just seemed wrong — but my left shoulder (I’m right-​handed) was increasingly painful so I finally went ahead, after putting it off for years.
Dr. Stuart Montgomery couldn’t have done a better job and it couldn’t have gone better. The left shoulder is fine (with help from physical therapy), I healed quickly and well, and the scar is scarcely visible.
All in all, it seems like magic. Maybe it doesn’t always go this way, but I can’t say enough about Dr Montgomery and the procedure.
