Pacific Northwest Cabinetry

We went to Pacific Northwest Cabinetry to discuss a planned kitchen remodel. There appeared to be two sales people but both were occupied with other customers. We wandered around the place for a full 20 minutes, but no one stopped and took the time to speak with us. A simple, «hello, I’m with a customer at the moment but can be with you in 10 minutes», or, «I’m really sorry, but we’re kind of slammed at the moment, would you like to take my business card and call in for a specific appointment time so that I can give you my full attention?». Nothing like that happened and I didn’t want to be rude and interrupt anyone, so after 20 minutes of feeling like we were sneaking around the place, we finally just left. Now I’m on the hunt for other kitchen design and cabinetry firms.

Exceptional! Peter and his team are outstanding. We remodeled a kitchen with new counters and tile backsplash. They totally designed and remodeled the entire 3^rd floor of our home. The custom build TV cabinets and bar area plus the wainscoting are beautiful. Every detailed is planned and executed on time. We are thrilled with the results and will continue to use this company in the future. Amazing group of people. Thanks!

We had a fabulous kitchen remodel experience from March 2013 to mid May 2013 with Pacific Northwest Cabinetry. We found Pacific Northwest Cabinetry on Angie’s List and Peter and Crystal met with us before the project began to review the design we had created by another designer. They suggested some changes and discussed the general process. We decided to move forward with a bid. Peter brought all of the subcontractors to the bid, so we felt like we were getting a «real» bid that would not leave us with any surprises. Based on this and the reviews on Angie’s list, we decided to move forward with Peter after receiving two other bids.
The highlights of the remodel:
1– On day 1 we were provided with a daily schedule for the entire project (10 weeks). The project was completed on time and on budget.
2– Peter knew we were going to be gone for spring break so intentionally scheduled the smelly floor refinishing during that time.
3– We loved all the subcontractors and felt like they did a great job.
4– Communication was excellent. Peter pretty much sent daily emails regarding the work that was to be done. If we ever had questions/​issues, Peter and Crystal were always very timely and incredibly responsive to us before, during and after the project.
5– The quality of the workmanship and materials of the cabinetry, flooring, countertops, and tiling was all excellent.
6 — Follow-​up and customer service has been excellent, even after the remodel was complete and in many instance above and beyond. Three examples: 1– We originally had chosen a 3-​bin garbage hardware that ended up causing misalignment of the garbage drawer with the other cabinets. Peter noticed this, determined it was not acceptable and built a new garbage drawer that is sturdier and aligns correctly. 2– We had an issue with some electrical outlets shorting 3 months after the project was complete. We contacted Peter who immediately put us in touch with the electrical subcontractor who fixed the problem the next day. (And the problem was not a workmanship issue.) 3– We were considering different pulls for our drawers after the remodel, sent an email to Crystal asking her about this and she responded with some ideas for different pulls that would fit the existing drilled holes. Totally above and beyond what the email requested. We have no doubts, that if we ever have issues in the future, that we can work with Peter and/​or Crystal to have them resolved.
7 — All people working at our house were polite, timely and cleaned up after their day’s work.
8– Peter stresses out about staying on schedule and making sure everything is done, so you don’t have to!
After the project was complete, we were trying to come up with something that went wrong or was a big issue and could not come up with anything. It is not often that you hear about a large kitchen remodel that involved structural changes going so smoothly, but that was our experience.

We love our cabinets and we love our new kitchen! We have no hesitancy in recommending them for a kitchen or bathroom remodel and have been singing their praises to anyone who is interested.
