I found Parrydise via Groupon over a year ago. Before I came here I decided to use natural henna dye, it was a terrible mistake that the owner was able to fix and no one else before her had even come close. I have been going here for all hair appointments for over a year, and am always pleased with the result. My hair always feels amazing when I leave and looks amazing!

Unfortunately, the owner felt the need to delete my photo comments on her business fb page showing her, and her employees’ «handiwork». I went in with a livingsocial deal and requested an ombré hair color, haircut, and manicure. I showed Tricia pictures of the reverse A-line cut and ombré color I wanted. What I got was a lopsided mess of a haircut which included severely uneven bangs and an all over frost. I actually had to go home and fix my bangs myself. I think she was going for some sort of tacky Texas soccer mom hair. She even asked at the end if I wanted a «bump» at the back. Um. Just no. She also failed to use any product or straightening iron in favor of a barrel brush, dryer, and hairspray. My hair felt like straw and did not have the texture necessary to make my hair look good. As for the manicure, well, that was also a disaster. The manicurist actually flaked and used a gel topcoat on my regular manicure so it never dried. It turned into a sticky mess that got all over my hands and clothes. I pointed this out and the owner had her asst. manager hurriedly repaint my nails while they were finishing up on my hair. She got green polish on my skin and the finished paint job looked bumpy and terrible. It looked like the top coat polish was old and congealed. I had to go home and remove it because I couldn’t done a better job painting my nails drunk. I will never, ever come back here. In all fairness, they were very nice to me, though the owner was loud and abrasive. She kept saying that I could be a model(typical hair stylist flattery) except she bizarrely prefaced this by saying«don’t worry, I’m not hitting on you, girl!» Ummmm– okkk. I didn’t think that, but thanks? I mean, are we 15 years old? Judging by their Facebook page, this salon seems to do well with your run of the mill prom and wedding hair — big and long with ringlets. If this is what you are going for, I guess they’re ok. But if you want a stylish shorter style that involves skill and finesse, avoid this place like the plague.
