I saw dr Patel for some hearing and ear discomfort issues. The office staff was friendly and accommodating. I was able to get an appointment easily despite my difficult schedule. Dr Patel was great. I’ve seen many practitioners for facial injections in Portland and Dr. Max Furr is one of the best! He’s patient and honest with what is best for your face. His prices are extremely reasonable considering you’re getting the undivided attention of a MD. He’s not the guy who’s going to over inject, so if you want that you might look elsewhere.

This review concerns Dr. Maxwell Furr: If I could give zero: Loved him the first visit as he said he would clean up my problem and graft if needed. I had a big wound in my ear from a Hobo spider bite and instead of examining the large wound he decided to apple polish himself over healing something not much more than a pimple. Staring at this wound in my ear and as I tried to explain my issue he behaved as if he had a hot date and did not want to decide to aid me in my pain. Instead he demeaned me by saying it was somatic even though the CT scan said it could be a hobo bite to my ear which is deep necrosing and overwhelming my ear with excruciating pain. Yet when I kept trying to get help, every time I opened my mouth this conceited man put his finger to his mouth to «shush» me. i am a mature woman and I believe his mother would spank him for this heartless and careless behavior. I still suffer excruciating pain daily. This man has no mercy: avoid at all cost

I visited Dr. Furr after having a bad experience with another ENT. He was able to review my CT scan, talk with me for a few minutes, and give me a diagnosis I had never heard before (TMD/​TMJ), and tell me to go see a dentist/​TMJ specialist. He was also able to keep me from getting unnecessary surgery on a deviated septum that another ENT had recommended. The TMJ diagnosis was a godsend, and I no longer have daily headaches when I wake up, which is such a relief.
