We tried corn on the cob and lemonade. Seems pretty over priced — $ 3 for a lemonade. It was okay, just confused… I felt like we were kinda pressured to buy a bunch of things when he asked for his help to call us a cab since my phone died. He pushed one cup for each of us even after I declined the first 3 times he asked and then after we each bought one, he told us about his $ 1 refills. We could’ve shared. It was clear we were just being polite since we thought he was being nice to get us a cab but then turned out he was in no rush to be very helpful. His enthusiasm and kindness just didn’t seem sincere. It was a bit too pushy for my liking. He also seemed a bit sleezy when he took a picture of a girl in her bikini. He seems to just take photos of all his customers but odd when he asked to back her up to get the whole body in the shot…

What a great place to stop in for a cold drink and a dog. My bf got the Italian sausage and I got the hot dog, both were amazing. He has these amazing buns that he toasts and gives a great crunch to your dog. He even has caramelized onions or warm kraut for your dog. Perry has such a great personality and takes your picture(if you allow it).

Great service, friendly, and the hot dogs are awesome. The bun is locally baked and has a crispy outside and soft inside. Perry’s special relish is terrific. Combine it with brown mustard and celery salt for a real taste treat. Glad to see Perry in Kittery!

Finally found Perry. Was eating dinner and going through the local newspaper when I saw the announcement of his new times and location. So the next day we were there. Perry is quite a character and the hot dogs are great. He even takes a picture with you(with your permission of course) and places it on FB. Next time I’m in Portland, will definitely make a stop there and visit with Perry and grab a hot dog or two.

Perry is off-the-hook! My wife and I enjoyed our umpteenth trip to Portland last fall and took in an unseasonably warm early-October day walking up and down Commercial Street and through town. It was early afternoon and we were in search of a quick nosh to tide us over to dinner. We passed Perry among the masses of cruise-ship visitors and were promptly flagged down… it was as if Perry was peering inside our grumbling stomachs. The enticing aroma of grilled onions and grilled encased meats made us pause and soon we were holding two lovingly prepared sandwiches. One hot dog and an Italian sausage(pictures attached to Perry’s profile). Both selections were huge and adorned with all the fixings. Whatever Perry puts in his relish should be jarred and mass-marketed as it was divine. We had our requisite photo with Perry and now find ourselves fans of his Facebook page and will most certainly be visiting on our next trip to Portland. It’s rare that you find someone who is so into his art as Perry. He’ll make your lunch and make your day. Can’t wait to see you again!

Delicious grilled Hebrew National franks, sauerkraut and a lot more. The owner is a lot of fun too.
