A great place to grab a slice of pizza! Haven’t ordered a full pie, but SO grateful they were opened later and had a good variety of slices to go. Friendly staff and easy to find.

Their pizza is fantastic. NY style thin crust. The best classic slice pizza. It is always warm inside from the ovens and nice on the patio during the summer. Friendly staff make it a pleasure to stop in.

My partner and I have had several perfectly pleasant experiences with their take out and delivery services. However, a while back we were surprised by our upsetting experience, and we aren’t at all ready to try again. Too soon… We called in for delivery right at 4:30, the guy on the other end confirmed that we were the first delivery order of the day. Given that we were indeed the first and that we live in the neighborhood, we were slightly concerned so after 45 minutes my partner called, just to check in. The guy was a rather dismissive, but confirmed that things were fine, the business was busy, 45 minutes is the standard time, which we of course understand. More than thirty minutes later, we called again and we were told not to worry, surely the food was on the way. Cool! A little long considering how close we live and the time of day, but whatever. 15 minutes later we got our food. Long delivery time isn’t a make it or break it situation. My bigger problem was quality. My partner got a pizza, which was tasty and good. I didn’t want pizza, I ordered a salad for my dinner. EVERY. SINGLE. PIECE. of lettuce/spinach was brown, shriveled and gross. The onion, cheese and tomato toppings were perfectly set out on top, as if care and attention were applied to assemble the salad. However I cannot believe that such a lapse in simple, obvious quality control occurred. The disgusting greens were so, SO apparent, there was truly no gray area in terms of passable quality. That was my dinner, and it was inedible. Luckily they refunded the cost of the shit salad, which I’m thankful for. TLDR: Service=meh, dismissive and slow. Quality=lazy and negligent.

Good Pizza, Good Salad. Andy and the crew are friendly and the service is good. Good condiment selection. We(me and the family) like the rock and roll attitude. If the music is too loud, ask them to turn it down, if delivery is going to take too long, go pick it up. Sausage is classic crumbly pizza sausage and it is great!

A nice variety of options in locally grown veggies, select meats and choice of sweet tomato or chipotle marinara sauce. Thin crust with a crispy chewy texture. Nice flavor and affordable prices. I like the rock ‘n’ roll vibe and how it still feels like the Portland I knew in college in the early 2000’s. A local N. Williams neighborhood joint that hasn’t compromised its roots amid bustling development. Just Go-Go!

There pizza is good in a classic sort of way(not fancy schmancy new wood fired, but classic). Cheap, easy, good. Nuff said.

Ordered 3 large pizzas with mushroom, pep, cheese. $ 75.00 Are you kidding me? The guy delivering them wasn’t overly nice nor overly rude but how about when someone tips you $ 15 for driving ¼ mile you say thank you??? Typical North side customer service. Nothing special about the pizza to warrant the price. Decent pie. Mushrooms appeared oldish and were not cooked all the way through. No napkins, cheese or chili packs offered in my $ 75 three pie order. Needless to say, we’ll stick with the pie shop down the road from now on. Order took just over an hour to arrive on a Sunday night.

I grew up in central NY and have lived in Portland for 16 years. I really miss good, authentic NY style pizza. This is the best I have found. Crispy yet not crunchy, large pieces and when I picked up a piece it would flap over or i needed to fold it. A characteristic of real NY pizza. My only regret is not finding this place sooner!!! Cant wait to go back!

The atmosphere for one is awesome. Only been there once because it was close to the hospital what a happy coincidence. I cant wait to go back. The customer service was pretty rad, I liked how they werent all like robots and overly professional like get real its 2015 its okay to have tattoos and piercings show in the workplace! The pizza was equally awesome i really am dying for more. seriously dying inside…): D;

The negative reviews about this place crack me up. I’m giving five stars for solid pizza. Been a go go customer for probably about 15 years… is that possible? Maybe more like 13? Definitely more than 12 :) Why I love it: great pizza. Loud music. Kinda rock n roll dirty. It’s a pizza joint with young people working the counter. It’s not fine dining it’s a freakin pizza joint. By the way — I hope the neighborhood doesn’t price them out. I used to live over there in ~ 2001 and wow it has changed! Not bad or good I guess just different. Oh, I always get a Caesar salad too and it has never been the same each time. Some times it’s awesome and garlicky but tonight it was a little too creamy and bland. I don’t mind the variation though. We are out of deliver range now but still sometimes drive over and get a to go go :)

Haters gonna hate, but you can’t argue that this pizza is great. Great veg and vegan options. Yummy garlic stix! Great lunch special. A slice, great salad and a drink for 6 or 7 $. Missing one star because sometimes one person is a bit of a(fill in the blank) and they’ve messed up my order a few times. They always make up for it thought

This is a funky little place and the pizza is good too. Five stars because they have vegan pizza made from vegetables that come out of the garden right across the street.

My husband and I were in the neighborhood, and decided to try this place. I’m glad we did! We both got the lunch special, which consists of a slice of pizza, Caesar salad, and PBR for $ 7. The pizza(ham and pinapple) was delicious. The crust was thin and crispy, I loved the sauce, and the toppings tasted very fresh. The salad wad made to order and was a goods sized portion. This is the perfect little pizza joint.

We were excited to check this place out after there was a long line for Life of Pie. It was empty, and I guess that should have given us a clue. Chiplote sauce? I am in that sounds great. It was not great, good, or even average. The sauce was the least of the problem, cheese and crust were flavorless. The worst part? The price, 15 for a medium that is not as good as Dominos. I hate to give such a. bad review but with feeling ripped off I felt it was neccasary. Service was average, took awhile for the pizza even though no one was there, could have had a lot of deliveries.

The bathrooms were very cold. German style I liked it a lot. Great place to come in for a brisk bathroom. I asked for a paper plate they gave it to me.

This place has grown on me. A perfectly good spot to get some cheap greasy pizza served up by polite metalheads. It’s not the first or third best slice in town, but it’ll do. It’ll do just fine.

This was the first pizza place I ate at when I moved to Portland. I still swing in from time to time when I’m looking for a quick slice. It’s an old building that looks like a small 80’s pizza parlor that hasn’t been kept up very well. The staff have always been friendly and helpful to me. They usually have 4 or 5 pre made pizzas ready to be toasted and served by the slice. You can of course also order whole pies in house, to go, or for delivery as well as salads, beer, soda, etc. The vegetables on their pizzas are grown on the urban Blue House Greenhouse Farm across the street, which is pretty cool. I do enjoy the flavor of the pizza in a «I just want some cheap quick mediocre pizza» kind of way. It’s not gourmet by any means but it always hits the spot. Stop in if if you’re hung over or order for delivery when drinking at someone’s house. You won’t be disappointed.

Deece ‘za, but holy moley, Portland, can you do better than average? I stopped in because I was riding by and was hungry. I saw slices, so I said«why not?» The guy working was nice, which I have come to learn is an exception to the rule here in Poetland. Took our orders, made some salads and brought the whole mess out. Looked good, tasted good. Little heavy on the dressing, but maybe there’s a loose top back there? The Smiths on the radio? Not my choice, but I respect the employees right to play their jamz. Probably won’t go out the way to come back, but at least I’m not hungry anymore and don’t wish that I just set my money on fire instead.
