Kerri is wonderful. She has years of experience that shine through on both her own skin and in the work that she does on others. I love going to see her, because it is a relaxing and calm time for myself, thanks to her amazing natural products and the beautiful room she has created in her home. I feel so blessed to have discovered Pure Essence! I actually discovered Kerri on Unilocal and scheduled a consultation with her. She works in a quiet and peaceful studio in her home in NE PDX, and I always look forward to my sessions. This keeps the cost down and also avoids the hustle and bustle that you experience at larger spas.
After finally making the decision to get bi-​monthly facials as an investment in my skin, I have been going exclusively to Kerri. The first time we met, we sat down and discussed all my skincare concerns and what options and routes we could go. What I especially liked about her is that she takes a holistic approach to skincare, suggesting that for certain skin ailments I may look into changing my diet or even consulting with a dietician. Kerri truly wants to work from the inside out, rather than just targeting what’s on the surface. Throughout our time together, she has suggested various supplements and natural extracts to help with my rosacea and hyper pigmentation.
The facial itself is an extremely relaxing process and I LOVE the products that she uses! They are all natural and organic from brands that she has discovered and she uses different scents, moisturizers, masks, etc as the seasons change (i.e. pumpkin enzyme mask in the fall vs. papaya in the summer). I have fully revamped my skincare product collection with all organic products that she has recommended for my skin, and I couldn’t be happier.
If you want an amazing facial at an affordable rate, I 100% recommend you checking Kerri out. She is amazing and my skin has never looked better.

One of the best facials and face treatments I have had. Kerri’s room is tastefully decorated, quiet, and I received a wonderful relaxing facial. Kerri is professional in all aspects of her work. Kerri is truly one in a million in terms of her knowledge, expertise and technique. I love that I truly get to unwind with her in a way that is very comforting and unpretentious. The entire session is a joy, but what I really love is the way she uses her hands to lift, drain and massage my face. I always walk away with firm, baby soft, super hydrated skin. My only disappointment is the end when I have to get off the table! I highly recommend Kerri. She is the shining pearl in her field.
