When I used to work up in New York City, I was down in Soho and there were small art galleries everywhere. Being that I have an art background, I was always interested in seeing new art or some of my favorite pop artists work in a small place that I could just take a gander at and not worry about a big museum. Yes, I know Portland has quite a bit to offer when it comes to the creative community so I’m glad that I wandered the Pearl and found out about several galleries in this area. I was right next door to this place and when I stepped out and took a right and there was Quintana and some amazing Eskimo and Inuit art. I love the light and dark contrasts and the animals and abstract pieces. So incredible. Quite a bit of it nowadays is great material for tattoo work as well. The artwork itself is not cheap, but you can go in and look around and the staff was friendly. I call it inspiration. I can’t wait to see the other galleries and what they have.

Awesome gallery — great resource! One the the top galleries in town. The exhibits change often so you never know what kind of amazing work you’re going to see. They have great masks, textiles, affordable prints, and amazing jewelry.

This gallery features unique art of the Native Americans, particularly from the Northwest region of the US. The art is tastefully displayed and is visually interesting.
