What a superb latte I had there yesterday. The coffee cake was excellent too. Ray who owns the place was also a delight to speak with. This is one of those low viz places with great food, excellent service, incredible prices, non-descript aesthetics, and ownership that truly cares for each and every customer that visits.

They make a really great latte! Nice service, lots of books to browse while you wait, drink or maybe for borrowing(not sure on the last one). The baked goods look super yummy too. They are easy to miss, as they set back a bit on 122nd. Also, contrary to another review, they do not only have«Biblical related novels», although they do have a lot of them. The only downside is that I don’t love Longbottem coffee(I would prefer Portland Roasters, Stumptown, or Kobos). Also, they could«cozy it up» a bit more, maybe add more couches or something, to encourage more lingering.

Ok Longbottom coffee, but totally lacking in any kind of «coffee shop atmosphere» The only reading material is Biblical related novels(I noticed the shopkeeper reading the bible on the counter). They have every flavored syrup ever made, but not a trace of any kind of bagel or pastry. I’ve been there 3 times, only because I have yet to find anything else worth drinking(that passes for espresso) in the area. The place could be really awesome, but just doesn’t do it for me.
