Slowest pharmacy ever — if you’re sick or in a lot of pain waiting for a prescription, don’t come here.

This review is for the pharmacy, not the store part which I don’t really shop at much. The pharmacy has been friendly, prompt, and so far never made a mistake in the few years I have used them. I’m bothering to write this review because there are a few negative reviews that don’t at all reflect my experience over the years. The store part of this operation, as opposed to the Pharmacy, used to be very bare bones in selection and looks, very old school. They spruced up the look of the place substantially recently and it looks much better. Not as retail savvy as a Walgreens, but much better looking than it used to. With those wide aisles you get the impression the place is much bigger than they need.

The pharmacist, Tim was amazing! My prescription was messed up by both my insurance and doctor and he helped me sort it out even though it was Friday at 8p. This was my first time at this location and I have to say even though the other reviews are pretty bad, my experience was stellar. I will be coming back.

Meh, I go here when I am desperate. They have nice selection but I find staff to be sparse. They have become more friendly over the years but it just feels outdated from staff to displays. The pharmacy is always busy and can be brisk and not friendly. They do seem to have what I need but I usually go to Albertsons first.

I’m new to this rite aid — coming from the Pearl District rite aid and there is no comparison. This one is so unorganized especially the pharmacy. If it wasn’t so close I’d go elsewhere and I just might.

Worst. Terrible everything. Terrible customer service. Pharmacy messes everything up. The pharmacist is unable to give even basic advice or fill prescriptions in a timely manner. The store is oddly laid out and oddly stocked. Cashiers are inept. Terrible.

It’s pretty frustrating when they don’t post their sales very clearly. This place has always been messy, outdated, and over half the store is just junk. Kinda sad considering it could offer much better product. It’s not really a corporate thing, either — the Rite Aid on NW Cornell is in much better shape and isn’t overloaded with so much trash. I know they do not price match, but they also aren’t very good at accommodating to a customer. The one incidence I had a problem with was buying supplements of two different brands. Both had a sign that said«buy one get one free», but they wouldn’t give me the lesser priced one free because they claimed it had to be the same brand. Ridiculous. It wasn’t even posted that way, and it shouldn’t matter when the sale is the same. Better off going somewhere like Walgreens, at least they will work with you on a deal.

I go to this place because my grandmother went there. No other reason than nostalgia. As much as I loved my grandmother, I may be changing that decision. They often don’t have the specific drug in stock or can’t fill the entire prescription. And when I go in to get the rest of the prescription filled they make me wait(again) despite telling me that it would be ready when I showed up. Not impressed…
