Salam Market and Restaurant

I’m always on the lookout for Ethiopian food markets and restaurants. This tiny spot is primarily a convenience store with pop, beer and snacks, no restaurant. They did have a very small collection of Ethiopian DVDs. They have green coffee beans, but the bin was almost empty. They have a small selection of Ethiopian spices in larger size containers and big 50# bags of teff flour in back. I got some berebere powder, but it wasn’t my style. It was paprika and salt heavy. My style is more prominent cinnamon, cloves, coriander, garlic and ginger, which I couldn’t taste in their version. But I do give this little store a star for still having Four Loco. So if you need that, this is the place!
