Some lovely finds in this store! Today I purchased a beautiful piece of Dutch Gouda, c.1920−30 in perfect condition at a very fair price. The staff was helpful and knowledgable as well.

Well organized and well stocked with interests ranging in antiques. I was impressed that the prices were of fair market value. No comment on customer service as I was just browsing.

Five reasons I love this place~ 1. Their inventory changes constantly! Sure there are items and spaces that seem to defy time, but generally the stuff comes in and goes out so that you don’t see the same dusty items over and over(like some places). 2. They are open every day. No need to guess whether its their ‘off’ day when you go. They are always there. I’m not sure what Marie C. is talking about in the other review. 3. Some of their dealers are totally amazing. Once you go on a regular basis, you’ll see what I mean: outstanding stuff(where do they come up with it!) I guess it depends on what you like and what you’re looking for, but a couple of their dealers bring the kind of unique(ok, weird) things I like with frightening regularity. 4. Their prices, for the most part, are really good. A trip here doesn’t break the budget. 5. The people who work there actually have a space there(thus the Collective part of their name). No disinterested counter jockey ignoring you– they will go out of their way to help you find a treasure to take home. Not in a pushy way, in a helpful, engaged way. If you like to look at crazy fun old stuff, check these guys out.

The little antique store that tried but just hasn’t quite made it. It seemed like it was a little barren inside and didn’t have very many interesting things. Maybe I came on a bad day when they just sold out all their awesomeness but oh well still a solid 3 for not being an overpriced place full of grandmas junk.

Collectives are usually reserved for artist hipsters from Connecticut who band together to put bird designs on things. Not this place. This is your good old fashioned antique store where you’ll find stuff from a bunch of different sellers. This place is fairly-priced and has good variety. I got an AWESOME quilt and an old print type tray. Get 10% off if you pay with cash.

I always enjoy popping into the Sellwood Antique Collective when I am in the area. It’s hard to resist taking something new home each time. The people who work there are always friendly and fun to chat with. My only complaint, which is very small, is that they have not always been open during the days I was in the area.

This is a great little antique store in the heart of Sellwood with lots of little treasures from the past. I had fun walking around the store and perusing the items. The man at the counter was welcoming and friendly. I didn’t go in looking for anything in particular and I’m not much of a collector, but it is an enjoyable store to browse through while wandering through the neighborhood after lunch.
