Finally I’m able to post my long over due review due error confirmation. I want to share with everyone who reads these Unilocal reviews or anyone that is in need of PERMANENT HAIR REMOVAL ELECTROLYSIS, if you need reliable results, good hearted, a passionately dedicated electrolysis esthetician facial care? you are on the right page! Look up Carol Heacock! I has great skin until my mid 30’s with a hormonal issues cause unwanted hair & skin issues from waxing, depilating creams, tweezing plucking, shaving causing dark under shadow & ingrown hair causing infections. This all ended until I met Carol! I was searching & praying to meet a person who took their job serious, listened well, great sense of humor & witty, and flexible. I checked few other electrolysis (not so great) and then I found who Carol was an excellent candidate she is honest, great listener and she gets to the point with no excuses. She is also gentle with her schedule not so restricted like the others I met who did not give me time to talk. If you are serious and need to be actually free from hair «Carol Heacock» is the gal you need and will want because you will have complete trust in her once you meet with her. I have had Michele cut and color my hair for about 20 years. She is amazing. Love this salon. I highly recommend it.

I had been a client at Shear Pleasure many years ago before I moved away. I moved back and decided to give it a try for my daughter. Back to school time and my 8 yr old was more than due for a haircut. Since my stylist was no longer there, I took the stylist who had an opening on the day we needed.
My daughter inherited my hair unfortunately~ fine, stick straight, and a large cowlick in front. Yay. We both find it hard to get good haircuts.

Our stylist was Cindy Adams (there are 2 Cindy’s here) She did a fantastic job on my daughter! Even got her bangs right which based on past experience, must be difficult to do.
And at the end, I was pleasantly surprised at how much she charged for a child’s cut. We will be back for sure! Thanks, Cindy :)

I had my first appointement at this Salon because it is where my stylist, Kim Ballweber was moving to. Although this new location is a little farther from me compared to her old salon, she is worth the travel, and I’d follow her anywhere! She is great at what she does because she really listens to what you want, and does her very best to give you exactly that.

I have been a client at Shear Pleasure for about 13 years now and I highly recommend them! Charla literally saved my hair from a horrible home hair weave ‘accident’ and also the same for one of my friends who ended up with green hair when she went swimming soon after a home hair dye job. I don’t know what I would do without them. They’re courteous, professional and a great place to just grab a cup of coffee, chat while getting my nails or hair done and relax. My daughter and I won’t let any other salon touch our hair or nails! :)

I have been going to see Jody D for a while, and I have to boast about my hair, and all that she has done for me! She helped me transition from red, back to blonde (so that I was able to hide the roots better/​not any easier ladies as we get older) it also helped that I was originally a blonde 19 years ago before I strated to color red, then black, then brown, then red (you see the picture!) she let me know it was going to be a process, but if I had the patience, I would end up very happy, which I was/​am! The I had a friend have the Pravana treatment done to her hair, and I have had issues for years with «frizzy» older hair, I asked Jody about doing it, and she was totally game for trying, and I have to say, I have never been this happy with my hair in for so very long. The first time was great, doing it the 2^nd time was AMAZING! my hair is so soft, and no friz whatso ever. I will be eternally grateful to Jody for doing what she has to make my hair and me, very happy!
I will go back to this salon, and Jody for as long as I can! She is AMAZING!

Horrible Horrible Horrible. Why wonder when the owner Charla is the worst owner operator!!!
I am a regular client for 22 years. ONLY there because I luv luv luv my stylist and have been begging her to leave this dump.
It really is old, dirty and not pleasant. They actually vacuum the facility while clients are being worked on. Charla shreeks over the vacuum and they don’t answer their phones or have a recorder.
They have had leaky plumbing for I can’t tell you for how long. I feel like I am being mentally tortured every time I go in. Between the vacuum, the shreeking and the constant sound of dripping water this IS NOT a relaxing or inviting environment.
I hope to bribe my super stellar stylist to move this year.

Kim Ballweber at Shear Pleasure Hair Design covers my gray roots, gives me foiled highlights, and cuts my hair exquisitely. I highly recommend her and appreciate her experience and wisdom keeping my hair style and color up-​to-​date. Kim is very astute about the condition of my hair adding deep conditioning treatments and advice as needed. Thank you, Kim for always giving me just what I want and more.

I decide over the summer that my naturally brown hair was getting a bit too much silver. I decided to go back to blonde highlights. The first time, I went an Aveda salon. The color was way off, chunky, and instead of going with my own brown, the stylist added something way off from my natural color. I tried 2 other salons and ended up with similar results.
Now with a dark skunk stripe after only 4 weeks from my last touch up, I was desperate to get the right blonde and brown blend. Today, my wish was granted. My stylist was the smart, down-​to-​earth, and sweet Chris Olive.
The color and blending was perfect and the cut exactly what I asked for. I’ll probably be able to go at least 8 weeks before my next touch up because she matched the browns perfectly.
I will definitely return to this beautiful, friendly, full service salon.

When you get your haircut there, it’s like a production shop. There are a bunch of stalls where people are cutting hair in a very condensed setting.
I got my hair cut, perm, and color with Mimi. It was a very average experience. My perm looked nice for a month or so then it straightened out.
The price is a little steep for the environment you get (yes, it feels like it does belong next to a Freddy’s). The quality of cut you’re going to get is a little better than Supercuts, so don’t expect much and good luck.

go see mimi, she is a G. little spendy but worth the investment. everytime mimi cuts my hair, it grows out and still looks bomb.
