I was feeling a bit trepidatious, after having a disconcerting experience with my previous artist. I lucked into this shop! So happy that I chose Zach and he ended up being even more awesome than I could’ve hoped for. He «gets» what I want(good communication), has the skill to make it happen, and is super fun to be around while he’s tattooing me. Zach has the rare skill to tattoo brilliantly in various art styles. The first piece was extremely realistic, sentimental(for my Dad) and it’s stunning; people comment constantly that it looks like a photo transfer. I went back to Zach last week for a second piece on my arm and he nailed it. Super absurd 1980s, Nagel style — he even put little geometric shapes in there and a perfect color palette(SO80s). Is it weird that I wanna make out with my own arm?

Cassady was nice in person when I scheduled an appointment around 7 months out and put down a deposit for him to start art. Cut to two days before scheduled date and I’ve still seen no art and hove only been meet with condescension, and rudeness. I would strongly warn against working with this shop. Since the the idea of a deposit is to pay the artist for the art if you back out of the tattoo, I feel a little cheated seeing as how I never got to see any art.

I went to Zach for my tattoo and I couldn’t be happier with it. It was my first tattoo, so I was extremely nervous. However, he was super sweet and caring of his work. He put the stencil on me about 7 – 8 times just because HE didn’t think it looked right.

The guys at Sideshow Alley are so sweet! Jason is a great artist and a complete cutie pie. The easiest artist I’ve had to sit down with for a while. He was very attentive to my vision and needs. I am so happy with my crescent moons! Thank you!
