Smokes and Beer.
All things that are great together, but sometimes one without the other seems just incomplete.
Well… ask my younger-​self and I might have intoned that they were inseparable. However now in my older, wiser days, since I have moved away from smokin’ much of anything, it’s just not the same. But that doesn’t mean that others shouldn’t be able to enjoy the finer, funner things in life.
Smokin’ is what it says. This shop is primarily about the fiery things in life, but on top of offering tobacco products (loose, pouch, rolled, papers, pipes, etc) they have vaping supplies, smoking accessories and a few coolers of beer. The staff is friendly. And while the selection isn’t as pretentious or curated as, say, an all-​out cigar shop or upscale tobacconist, they do have a pretty decent selection. Way more than you’ll find at any convenience store. And the location is convenient to Powell and 82^nd.
Generally if I want to dabble, I gravitate toward cigar shops since that’s one of my few remaining vices these days, but this store will work fine in a pinch, and it’s much cleaner than you’d expect for the subject matter, and especially the locale. Good job to the owners for making something that could be sketchy totally not sketchy.
