St Johns Computer Repair

This guys is a crook ! Do not get fooled ! I second the other reviewer’s misfortune or trying to stay local and support individuals in St Johns. I love my neighborhood and never thought i’d ever live a bad experience.
This guy was very nice at first, I broke my tablet’s screen and needed fix. He told me no problem, quoted me the price of the piece plus the labor. He asked me to pay upfront, didn’t think anything of it. He supposedly changed the screen and when i got it back the tablet was barely functioning. He stopped answering my calls, I literally had to threaten him to report him in order for him to return my calls, when i told him I paid him for a service he didn’t provide. I asked him to actually fix it or to reimburse me if he couldn’t and i would go elsewhere. It took MONTHS !! for me to get my tablet back, he disappeared, would not return phone calls, and when i tried to stop by his «so called office» the shop was closed. After months of phone calls and texted saying i just wanted my tablet back he agreed to give it back if someone picked it up at his HOUSE !
My boyfriend went there as i didn’t feel safe doing it and found him partying and watching football! I have requested a refund once again, sent my tablet elsewhere and got it repaired in 24h.
This guy is a liar, a thief and a CROOK. If i had more time and energy i would definitely have authorities look into his «business» as I guarantee you nothing that he does is legal.
STAY AWAY AND WARN YOUR FRIENDS.

Dan Computers is not a reliable guy. He changed over my XP to Windows 8, charged me $ 200 (still hasn’t sent me my receipt via my email) and when I had problems he was no where to be found after numerous phone calls and text messages.

Cool guy and really quick service. But the volume on my phone is still really low. I asked if the recommended speaker replacement would fix my phone and was assured that it would. However, it did not. Sucks that I had to still pay for a service that didn’t fix anything.
Update:
Heard back from Dan and he was able to find me a replacement phone to swap out my broken one with! Awesome customer service from a company I would definitely recommend.

Dan fixed my cracked iPhone 4s screen and had it back to me lickity split. Happy I went to him before going to verizon!
The shop is in the old Columbia Sportsware warehouse on Baltimore. After wandering through the building at first I noticed you can take a shortcut through the garage.
Anyway, good service, knowledgable, reasonably priced and quick. That’s all I ask for.
