Very decent place to eat at the airport. I probably like the fish and chips the best. I’m usually just popping in for a quick bite before or after a flight. It’s convenient, but not the best option. Wine bottles are ½ price on Wednesday

Yum. yum. yum. Nice ambience with excellent food and very generous portions. I finally decided to check this joint out and I think hit the jackpot. The chicken kale salad was HUGE. Good for sharing. Could barely get off the seat after that monster. Crab cakes were good with some good slaw and sauce on the side. Local Pinot Gris was a good accompaniment. Lots of choices in the menu with very reasonable prices. Stands out for delivering good taste in spite of being in an airport. Ill be back!

Eat Here! Never has airport food been so good. Order what ever is the current fish special and you’ll be more than pleasantly pleased! And I’m really picky.

Seated quickly and time from seating to ordering was just right. Nice mix between sports bar and steakhouse vibe. Not too stuffy and not too laid back. They have a fast menu and a more standard fare. I’d recommend stopping here before or after a flight or while waiting for someone at PDX.

Had some time to kill before an early evening departure back to Atlanta, and decided to grab dinner in the airport. Stanford’s was a VERY pleasant surprise! Nice atmosphere, very attentive service and delicious food! I started with a vodka gimlet martini which was made absolutely perfectly. For the main course I ordered the fish(COD) and chips with a side of coleslaw. Food was served piping hot. Tartar sauce for the fish was heaven in a ramekin. My only criticism was the herbed batter on the fish… It would be much better with a nice tempura or beer batter(conventional method). Definitely would return for a meal, and next time try the delicious looking burgers that diners at the next table were enjoying!

Super nice place with great food. It’s located outside of the TSA check in, so we can pick up our checked bags first, and then eat here after landing. This time, I ordered the fish and chips. It was OK, but the homemade coleslaw was a disappointment. Our server was gracious and brought another small side of coleslaw. It turns out they make 2 different kinds, which is cool, but I wasn’t a fan of either. Just personal preference. We love the convenient location

Went to Stanford’s for Sunday brunch and it was amazing. My spouse orders the crab cake Benedict, I had the prime rib hash and our boys ordered the banana French toast and the breakfast burrito. Let me tell you all of our food there was amazing! We were promptly greeted, the wait staff was prompt and informative. If your looking for a relaxed atmosphere, approachable, friendly servers and Amazing food and cocktail drinks, look no further, if you seated here then you have found it. j

Great quick service(we had a plane to catch and the server was super kind and worked with our schedule). Food was great! Cool to eat by the windows and watch the airplanes fly in!

Buyer beware: no Happy Hour at this location. I ordered the fish & chips($ 13.95) & a Classic Margarita($ 9). I have to say the margarita is really good. Very tasty! The Fish & Chips, not so much! First of all, the fish(COD) came in 3 small pieces. It would be nice if it comes with a single larger piece of fried fish. There is a small portion of sauerkraut; which is kinda dry & tasteless, with a lot of fries. All in all, not too bad… but the fish portion could be just a tad bigger.

We had a 5 hour delay and got meal vouchers from Alaska, so we headed to Stanfords. We passed up the Foodtruck themed fast food spots for a finer dining experience. Dark wood, granite tile columns, deep booths with privacy(glass partitions between booths). A bar with three large flat screen tvs. Music was really interesting(Tove Lo, Odesza). We sat next to the windows with a view to the people mover and terminal C. We enjoyed that. We made a meal of three appetizers: calamari, crab cakes, and fish and chips. I had a hefferveisen 25ounces(I thoroughly enjoyed this). My wife had a gin and tonic(Tanqueray). They have burgers and other pub food. Bar seems great. Servers were friendly. Menu is large. Lots of deep fried things(like everything we got) It’s expensive for the quality of the food. But I don’t have anything bad to say.

The service was impeccable. However, the quality of the food presented was extemely below the standard set by not only Stanford’s but Restaurants Unlimited in general. I ordered the Crab Cakes to start. there wasn’t any crab in the mix the kitchen supposedly used. The included slaw was delicious though. I replaced the Crab Cakes with the chicken wings. I personally had an issue with the fatty skin on the wings but that is my preference. They were OK I ordered the Southwest Chicken Chopped Salad. The salad tasted fine except for one issue most restaurants have, questionable greens. Fishing through a salad after finding un-fresh greens is not appealing. Over all, it was not my best experience at this«Restaurants Unlimited» location but I have grown to love the brand and will continue to frequent their other locations.

I ate at this location last Thursday, before departing from PDX and waiting for my flight. Definitely a 5 star establishment. The servers were super attentive and professional and the food was outstanding!

I’m impressed. The food was great. The ambience was great of all places… at Portland international airport. I don’t mind going back there again if I fly over there. I highly recommend anybody to try and eat there. Their steaks are cooked perfectly, their house steak sauce was so good as well as their cocktail drinks.

Still a great place. Looks like the menu has been revamped recently. Great happy hour snacks. Exceptionally good service. The perfect hangout before a flight/layovers

Sesame crusted Mahi Mahi. Good flavor. Cold rice threw me off, but didn’t pay much attention when ordering. Service was very poor. Received my food, but had no place setting. Had to wait for silverware. Also had to wait for my second drink. Was almost finished with my meal. Ordered it when I received my entrée. I would try this restaurant again. Lots of good looking choices. Just get your service figured out. The team approach to serving only works if everyone does their job. Lot of staff standing around, not busy but not taking care of basics. Rookie mistakes.

Hands down this is the best sit down restaurant if you have time to kill while waiting for your flight. I have dined at this location on several occasions and you feel like you are not eating in your typical cookie cutter airport restaurant. The food has always been consistent and have never had issues with service despite coming during busy times of the day. Had the Patty Melt today and it was awesome as it was a different twist of main ingredients that are used to make it unique and savory — chuck meat, short ribs and brisket along with the sweet jam spread. Loved the thin cut fries despite others who might say they get cold too fast. Tip: try to snag one of the high top tables located directly adjacent to the bar which will give you more room for your luggage as well as a great view of one of three flat screen TVs that are showing various sports venues. So the next time you are passing through PDX, give Stanfords a try!

Upon walking into Stanfords, you easily forget that you are still actually in an airport. Yes, there are subtle reminders, such as suitcases, and the random passerby moving between A, B, C gates to D, E, F that appear in the window looking at the pathway between terminals. The restaurant has a full bar, that has a line of TVs, which depending on where you sit in the main dining room, you will still be able to catch the game while you dine. While this maybe an airport offering, the menu is not your typical airport food. It is actual food, and if you’re looking for something light, they do have salads, but beyond that, this food is filling and heavy. It will require some time for digestion and if you have a long haul flight, it may not be the best option to eat a full meal prior to flying. While there was not a separate gluten free menu, they did have an allergen binder. Also, I generally got paired with the same server who knew the menu well and what I should avoid. Stanfords had one the better GF noodles that I’ve had. Their take on GF Mac-n-Cheese was good. The GF variation almost reminded me of what actual noodles tasted like. Plus, the portion sizes were huge! I felt bad for leaving over a half of the meal, but there was no way that the leftovers would travel back to the East coast easily. While there was no dedicated cooking area, they did a good job at managing the cross contamination by making sure to use separate utensils and pans. In all of my visits, I never once had a reaction to CC. If you have time to kill during a long connection or prior to your flight and have time to digest a heavy meal, Stanfords in a good option and it won’t break the expense account.

* Welcome Experience — Encouraging Was greeted /seated right away at 6pm on a Saturday night. This is my fourth time here and all four times I had a similar experience… * Establishment — Encouraging This place is spacious and comfortable. I feel like it’s a quintessential«restaurant» that’s not trying to be anything else. It’s dim lights and dark wood finishes were very comfortable. * Service — Encouraging Standard service with a touch of attentive and courteous on all of my visits. Also, for those of you who are pressed for time, there are some things for you to consider when dining in an airport restaurant.(This rant inspired by previous reviews.) Not everybody at an airport is in a hurry. Some choose to arrive early, have a layover or a flight delay and don’t need to rush. I was in a hurry on this last visit. Here is a simple tip for those who are in a hurry when dining at an airport. Simply ask your server to bring your check when your meal comes. See how easy that is? If you’re really pressed for time, have your card out when they bring the check with your meal. That way you’re all paid up and are free to go within minutes of you finishing. * Food Quantity /Quality /Presentation — Outstanding Each time I come here I order the extraordinary fish tacos. The fish is lightly battered and deep fried, placed on a double tortilla and piles with cabbage and avocado with a very tasty aoli. It comes with a generous side of jasmine rice that’s perfectly cooked and seasoned. I couldn’t find anything about the dish that would take a star away. Fantastic!(Pic) * Stuff that isn’t important but I felt it was worth mentioning If you’re in a hurry be a grown up about it and ask for your check to come with the meal. When your meal /check are delivered, hand your server your card and you’ll be settled up and ready to go as soon as you’re done. If you’re a needy diner who is in a hurry, stop at Sbarro instead. * What I’ll remember Dat fish taco plate! * What I can’t wait to forget Nothing! Outstanding! Looking forward to trying something different if I can ever STOP ordering the fish taco plate!
