Starbucks

I drop in here regularly, when there is no parking at the places I normally frequent. The service is always good, drinks are always ready when i get to the window and the drinks are always made correctly. Great store.

This Starbucks is small and in a weird location. It looks like it is hanging off the side of the building. It does not get enough attention sitting next to sprint. Past its awkwardness is a quiet place. Its awkward because the seats are not comfortable enough to sit in. They are bar stools with a weird combination with table’s height. Seating is cramped with the lines. They layput is weird to since the condiment stand is not more open and away from forming lines and people sitting. Its also nect to at least two other starbucks.

I’m a regular customer at this location and one other in NE Portland. They are always speedy and very nice. One time they messed up my order and it was no problem, I called them on the phone, unable to return, and they told me to get another on the house next time I was in the area. Four days later I had no problem getting the correct drink. They are awesome and I’ll continue to be a faithful customer. Now if they could get rid of the guy who’s standing at the end of the drive soliciting… but that’s another issue :)

I haven’t been to Starbucks in yeeeears! Literally! I’m not a coffee consumer so the urge never hits.
I was randomly turned around when a car forced me into the wrong lane so I said why not stop at Starbucks. I ordered the Caramel Frappucino and my little sister ordered the chocolate Chip Frappucino.
They were both really good and light on the coffee flavor which I loved! I had a $ 100 bill and I almost had to drive off because they didn’t know if they could break it, luckily they could but I might’ve took all of their change!
The woman at the drive through window was really sweet and her customer service definitely made me want to tip her (is that allowed)…
I’m mad because the Portland Coffee Cake doesn’t exist at Starbucks anymore! I mean seriously they took away the best thing that they ever offered! BRING IT BACK PRETTY PLEASE WITH A CHERRY ON TOP!

Starbucks is Starbucks is Starbucks pretty much anywhere you go but what makes this location special are the employees. The early crew especially. I can’t remember either of their names but the two guys I usually see in the morning have such a good attitude and are so kind.

I have frequented this store since it was a Coffee People; probably for over 15 years. It is one of my favorite Starbucks because it has a great drivethru. There is always a line up but it is convenient for checking emails and writing Unilocal reviews like I am doing during this visit. It is a converted gas station and while it had no inside seating it is perfect for grabbing coffee on the way to work. It does have a walkup window and plenty of parking if one wants to get out of your car and order, but I prefer the drivethru. Also, from my experience the people that work the drivethru window are super friendly and interested in providing great service to customers. This is not your usual «office away from the office» or «meeting place» Starbucks, but it is a good grab and go option.

I have to say… this is the unfriendliest Starbucks I’ve gone to. I am not rating this off one time. I don’t like to leave bad reviews. If I don’t have anything nice to say. I usually don’t say anything at all. But, third time in a month was a charm.
The employees do not seem like they want to be there. They are abrupt, unfriendly, unhelpful and just rude. I feel as though I am an inconvenience. An interruption to their horseplay. After today. I can’t say I’ll go back to this one again. I love Starbucks and go there very often. I will just support a different location.

Starbuck’s is pretty much at the bottom of my list of go-​to coffee spots. For the most part, I come here only when I’ve received a gift card from someone, or if there’s a BOGO coupon, or if I’m visiting a town where Starbuck’s is the only game in town.
Today, I had a gift card.
This location is one of the best on this side of town when it comes to speed, efficiency, friendliness and good customer service.
The weak, over-​sweetened, sugary drinks get 2 stars. The great employees get 4 stars. Thus, the 3 star rating.

This is a former Coffee People Motor Moka location.
The staff always treat me well whether via drive through or walk up, which is usually my preferred option. The location has some baristas from other shops. On a visit a few months ago, a former patron of the Hayden Island location was happy to meet one of her familiar faces behind the window here.
Today I took advantage of «half price frappucino happy hour» and probably filled my body with hundreds of empty calories. However, it was served up with a bit of humor and fun from whomever was taking orders (invisible) and the smiling window employee.
I’ve not found this location to be slow, and in my experiences the staff are as nice or nicer than one of the other nearby locations. There is an interior location just to the north on MLK, Jr. Blvd. as well as two drive through/​interior lobby locations to the south — one on MLK Jr. Blvd. north of the convention center and another between MLK and Grand next to the METRO government building.

I admit! I go to starbucks from time to time. Their coffee is not great but drinkable. Their super good breakfast sandwiches are what lure me in. And the machine-​like insanely quick service. But this location is THE WORST! I have more than once been trapped in their drive thru line for 25 mins with only 3 cars in front of me. Starbucks’ appeal is the assembly line approach to coffee, making it bizarrely consistent and conveniently quick. If I wanted delicious coffee that I had to wait a half hour for, I would go to Random Order. Dudes! get it together!

This is one of the most consistently good Starbucks in the city. Those people who know me, know that I pretty much run on espresso, so I know what I’m talking about here.
The service is always quick at this location — even the drive-​thru — and I never get any crap from the staff about ordering the same thing (Iced Grande 4-​shot espresso) over, and over, and over again.
I’m a big fan of Starbucks, and this location doesn’t do anything to change that.
