We highly recommend Stone Center. We used them to redo our counter-​tops from granite with no back splash to carrera marble an carrera marble back splash. Tim, the owner, offered excellent advice to questions we had, without trying to push us in any one direction (e.g. should we go to one level island, should we do farm sink). He provided time and cost considerations to decisions we were making which were very helpful. We pondered Quartz seriously but really finally decided to go with real stone. Stone Center described the sealing they do on the marble and the experiences they have seen with the marble helping us make a decision here. We are so glad we went this route and love the unique patterns in our white marble. The entire team was nice, professional, efficient, and the costs overall were reasonable. Thank you Tim, Jose, Sam and all the others who worked with us on our project. We get so many compliments on our new white kitchen. We will definitely refer you and use you again on our bathroom counters.

We hired the Stone Center to fabricate and install quartz countertops with under mount sinks for our kitchen, bathrooms, and utility room and they did an amazing job. Thank you Dale, Ken, Jose, Sam, Dave, Cesar, John, Bill, and anyone else involved with our project, it has been a pleasure working with each one of you. This company was professional, timely and clean; and we highly recommend them.

I was looking for a remnant piece of *something* to use as a ledge for the niche in our newly tiled shower. I looked online and saw that Stone Center, Inc. was in a good location for me to pop into after work.
I went in and described our bathroom and shower tile. A piece of marble was suggested and we then went over to the remnant area. Voila… the first piece in the remnant section was perfect! I needed it 60″ long and at least 4″ wide and it fit the bill. Took it as is for a great price. Having them cut it would have added about $ 150 to the price but was told that if we have a tile saw and go slowly, we could cut the width ourselves quite easily. That’s the truth and we now have the perfect shower niche ledge. Will definitely check them out when it comes time to redo our kitchen and we need larger pieces.

I went to six different highly recommended tile and stone places in the Portland area to investigate my options for my new island counter top. Stone Center was a breath of fresh air! They were helpful, honest and openly discussed prices with me for the different stone options — unlike so many other places around Portland, who want to keep it a big mystery. How can you make a decision without having an idea of prices?
I ended up buying a gorgeous peach-​colored marble remnant that looks outstanding in my kitchen and I get so many compliments! The price was excellent with no hidden costs and the installation crew — Jose, I think — was outstanding. Quick, right on time, and gorgeous, top-​quality work! And great choices for remnants! Talk to Dale — he was just great and helpfully explained to me how marble is created in the ground and several options to protect to it from staining. No BS at all from these guys. I know where I will go when I do my bathrooms.
