I am flabbergasted by how talented, patient, and personable Ursula is. My brows have never looked so incredible and she made the experience as painless as possible. I’m really impressed and so grateful to have found this gem!!!

Ursula changed my life, and also made me look less like a psychopath, and more like a god damn bride. She’s super uptight, which i appreciate because i know she’s obsessing over the slightest brow out of place on my face. Why would you go to anyone else, especially since she has a porcelain puppy in her shop.

What can I say that hasn’t been previously mentioned…
1– This is the cutest studio I have ever seen. The decorating makes me even feel like a cool kid for being there.
2– Ursula is nicer than a golden retriever. She is always putting the attention on YOU! This girl is so sweet and charming. A real joy to be around.
3– The work she does is amazing! I do not even touch my brows myself anymore. I have handed them over to the brow genius. I even have myself booked out until June. I walk in feeling frumpy, and leave feeling fancy.
Thank you for your hard work Ursula, can’t wait to come back soon!

Ursula is a brow genius!!! My eyebrows have never looked better and I’ve been getting them done at other places for years. She also introduced me to threading, which I’m obsessed with. She really takes her time looking at your brows before she does them and finding the perfect shape. I’m so glad I found her!!!

Ursula is the best. I have thick eyebrows and she makes them fabulous! !! She is meticulous and precise. I love not being in charge of my eyebrows, and trusting Ursula to take care of them for me. It’s so freeing!

So happy I found Ursula again! My life was incomplete without her and my brows have been looking haggard since I lost her. She discusses with you the look you want, wax or thread and then she explains what’s she’s doing while she’s shaping them and gives you a mirror to check. I love it! I am extremely picky about my brows, hair, and who am I kidding? I’m one hard customer to please because I’m a closet perfectionist.
Alas.she is found and I love her new studio! The décor is beautiful and glamorous just like Ursula. It’s perfect place to get my brows done and more incognito to trick my bf to another brow appointment!

After an enjoyable afternoon at Studio D’arc, I realized I DO have eyebrows. And they are magnificent! All thanks to Ursula. Brows have always mystified me. I over-​plucked in my youth and have completely abandoned them for the last few years so they would grow back. Ursula went to work and wow. Not only do they appear darker and fuller, but they have a beautiful shape. Plus they don’t clash with my red hair!
Ursula was welcoming, warm and funny. Her space is beautiful with simple yet elegant décor.
I definitely recommend her!

If you need your brows done, Ursula is your gal! She is amazing with what she does, and once you go to her you will never want to go anywhere else.

If you want the short version, just note that I drive 3 hours from out of town to get my brows done by Ursula. That sums it up.
— She does both waxing and threading. I used to wax elsewhere for years, and always walked out with shiny pink skin and for days I would break out like a teenager where the wax had been. Ursula recommended threading for me and I was hesitant because I had done it before and thought it was imprecise. I am so glad I gave it another try! She is like a laser with that thread and gets every single hair, and my skin is perfectly fine with no irritation.
— Ursula is a perfectionist with my brows as well as with her practices. Both she and her shop are meticulously clean and sanitary, which is SO important. This is not a place where you will spend ten dollars and ten minutes on a haphazard job. If you are looking for that, you have plenty of other options. I come here because there is no one else taking their craft to this level. Ursula has a passion for her work– not only brows, but skincare and health/​beauty in general. I am always impressed by her knowledge when I ask for advice.

Ursula is my brow wizard! I will never trust anyone else with my eyebrows again. I’ve had several different estheticians botch my brows over the years and Ursula shapes them perfectly every single time. The way that she can simply look at me and know precisely what to do to my brows to accentuate and enhance the shape of my face; It’s pure magic! I simply cannot sing her praises enough, she truly is the BEST in her field and HANDS DOWN the most gifted in Portland. Unlike her old shop, her new one is very conveniently located and I don’t have to pay to park, which is a HUGE bonus for me! 5 STARS, 2 THUMBS WAY UP!

Studio D’arc is gorgeous and Ursula is without a doubt the most talented brow artist in Portland. Her studio is conveniently located and a very cool part of Northwest Portland, where there is free street parking! She articulated her every move and decision on how to shape my brows and they came out perfectly! We planned out how to better my brows by growing them back in, in certain areas where other estheticians had screwed them up before. Her threading technique is perfection and fast! She also threaded my lip and did a gorgeous lash tint, all in preparation for my wedding. I felt so confident afterward and cannot wait to go back! I will be telling all my friends too… this place is the best there is.

Ursula has been my brow girl for over 3 years now. I used to see her when she worked on 23^rd. When I found out she was opening her own salon I tracked her down and the new place is so cute! She is a complete perfectionist with my brows and no one has ever been able to get them to look this good! Definitely recommend her.

Best eyebrow shaping and tinting ANYWHERE! I’ve tried waxing and threading at other places for years. Ursula is hands-​down the best! She is a total perfectionist and very detail oriented. I tend to like my eyebrows a bit thinner and a bit more arched than what is currently in style. She makes them perfect and exactly the way that I want them, whereas other places try to talk me into going with the current trend. Ursula makes sure that your brows are exactly the way that YOU want them! Also, her precision eyebrow tinting method is nothing short of amazing. She takes the time and effort to tint them perfectly and precisely so you don’t have that day or so of tint stain on your skin around your eyebrows. I always say that she makes my eyebrows so perfect that scientists use them to calibrate their instruments!
