Get the monte cristo. Don’t even think about it. Just TRUST me. Also get a milkshake.

I’ve been coming here regularly for about 6 months. Not once have I been greeted, no one remembers my name,(though the employees seem to remember everyone ELSE’s names), and every single time it was horrible customer service. Waitressing is one of the biggest jobs that your tips, atmosphere, and returning customers solely rely on your people-skills. This place is supposed to be a Grandma’s home-cooked type restaurant. But the food is less than mediocre. They don’t put a lot of thought into the food, the biscuits & watery gravy are bland, and the biscuits are more of a stale cake type taste/texture. The only good thing I’ve ever had here was one of the breakfast skillets, or the burgers. But beware, the waitresses are cold & silent. They’ll leave you sitting there with no menus & nothing to drink(not even water) for a good ten minutes before asking you if you«want something to drink?» They’ll then promptly ask your order, and walk quickly away silently, even when you thank them for the water and menus, you don’t get any«your welcome, is there anything else I can get you?» Like any waitress/waiter who cared about his/her customers & keeping their job. This is just unacceptable, and I am leaving this review because of the older lady who«served» us. It is unacceptable to lack such customer care /service. I thanked her multiple times and got nothing but silence, no chit-chat just a rude«what can I get you» is the only thing I heard from her the entire time. Sucks, I won’t be coming here again, not much of a loss though considering they don’t even care that their food tastes like crap and is overpriced.

Only been once and I will never go back. The place is dated no worries but seemed dirty and dindgie to me. I ordered the basic breakfast food came cold and sausage links where still raw inside under cooked. The owner sat with her daughter and grandchild waiting for the school bus kid screaming and yelling and his mother screaming at kid to wild it’s a restaurant not your kitchen, bad atmosphere.

Really delicious breakfast. Huge servings and great prices. I ordered a plate that came with two biscuits and gravy and a large portion of scrambled eggs with diced ham and it was only like $ 9. They deliver too so I plan on using that service in the future!

It’s a nice local restaurant, supporting a local family. We have been regulars for breakfast for a while now.

This is my go-to breakfast spot! There is never a wait, which is hard to find in Portland. The food is good and homey. I wish they had real maple syrup instead of the corn syrup kind and Coke instead of RC, but that is my only complaint! The service is fast and they actually refill your coffee here unlike that other breakfast place in Lents.

After waiting several years to enter this establishment I wonder why it took me so long. No, it’s not beautiful on the outside, or inside. However what awaits you on the table is the big deal! Fresh. Good tasting. Well thought out breakfast and lunch menus give you tasty offerings. Last week my partner had the shrimp and swiss cheese omelet and I had the ham and cheese omelet. Oh my. So good we had to come back this week and have new delights. I the 122nd omelet we with German sausage and Thom the biscuits and gravy. Full order of course! The staff is kind and helpful. No reason you shouldn’t venture to the south end of 122nd north of Foster and create your own perception of this small restaurant. Mow, not all at once because it’s already crowded.

Okay, so I went here this morning to have breakfast! This place is not too bad. I like it but I don’t LOVEIT. That’s why I give this place a 3: D But I do recommend it! The workers there are very friendly and I believe the place is family owned(which is good) They have a lot of different verity to choose from and the prices are cheap. I mean they aren’t too cheap or expensive either Go DINEIN&CHECKITOUTYOURSELF!

Good food. Americana diner. Classic place where they use margarine and Wonder bread! Good Prime Rib breakfast! Can’t figure out why Prime Rib breakfast is more expensive than dinner? But it’s good

I have eaten there 3 times and that is excatly how many chances I will give a place. All three times they messed up my order. The service is not very good. The food is tasty but both times I did take take out they forgot something. I don’t recommend this place.

After driving by Tina’s periodically and noticing the Friday and Saturday prime rib special sign, we tried it last night. i had a yen for plain meat and salad. We both ordered the large 12 oz. We are new to the area and enjoy Portland’s food-centc attention to detail, but sometimes you just want plain, good food without any embellishment. Tina’s delivered. We both liked the prime rib(we were early, and ordering med rare, we got med rare). I just had salad, and it was plain iceberg… but I wasnt looking for anything more. My husband liked the biscuit. A lot. And it was all a very reasonable price. The place is not fancy. It is what it is, a family, neighborhood diner. How refreshing! The servers are are not hovering, but are pleasant. The interior is genuinely kitsch, but clean. We’ll be back.

Great food for the price. I really wasn’t expecting much from such a homely drive… boy was I surprised. The Monte Cristo was huge and delicious. They also deliver and to my surprise… it was at my front door in less than 20mins. Other than limited seating in the diner itself, I highly recommend Tina’s.

They have good food, prices are about average for a nice diner $ 10/meal. They have a decent seating areA. They deliver. The bad is they are a hassle to deal with as far as credit cards to pay for your meal. The staff is not so friendly and they are not open the posted hours. That is really frustrating and the main reason I posted my review. 8pmish and closed. Waste of my time. They are close to my house however, and that is the only reason I would visit here.

We ate a late breakfast here today, and I can honestly say that we might not come back. Seemed like the cook in the kitchen was more of a server then the lady STANDING behind the bar area. After we ordered, it took a miracle to get a refill on our coffee. She was too busy pretending to be doing something at the counter. When our food came, she did not bother to bring syrup or even notice that our coffee cups were at the edge of our table. To top it off, there were only two other guests in the place. Not busy at all. I’d understand if she was slammed, but come on! One of the worst services I’ve experienced! I would not recommend anyone to come here unless they change the front end staff to be more attentive to their guests.

A small place but they get it done. A family restaurant that has survived the times. Good Home Made food and at a low price. Great staff and fast service.

Friendly quick service, tasty and filling. This is a small place, 6 booths, 5 tables and a counter that seats 8. Today we both were enticed to try one of the specials from the chalkboard, Marion berry pancakes with 2 eggs/sausages/bacon for $ 8.50. The marion berry sauce was hot & the pancakes were fluffy and large. The sausages were a heavy with sage, bacon was average and the over easy egg order was a ten count too easy. Coffee was average and unmemorable. Yes, because of the small space our neighbor’s conversations can be over heard. We arrived at 10am and the place was very busy shortly after that. They make home made pies but we’ve never tried them. Open 7 days a week 6am to 8pm, eat in, take out and they deliver. Over all a decent place for a filling meal.
