I came in here to use up a «6 oz free» coupon when I was in the area running errands. When I walked in, there were some patrons in the sitting area out front, but nobody manning the counter. I went ahead and sampled some flavors, noting that thankfully they had sample cups and even a flavor divider for the bowls.
Normally, original tart is my go-​to froyo flavor. Sadly, this place served up the worst original tart yogurt I’ve ever tried, anywhere. It was not very creamy in texture (non-​fat, yes, but so are the others), and the tartness seemed so artificial, like someone squeezed citric acid in there at the last minute.
The other flavors I sampled suffered the same malady as most conventional froyo shop flavors: too sweet, too artificial tasting.
In the end, I got a tiny bit of original tart and drowned it in toppings: almonds, peanuts, strawberries, cheesecake bites, mochi, coconut flakes, and waffle cone shards.
The toppings definitely satisfied my sweet tooth, and it looks like the owners took another reviewer’s advice and replaced the frozen fruit with fresh. Unfortunately, the fresh strawberries were put out whole — I found two half pieces, but the rest were huge whole berries with just the tops cut off. That shows me that the employees are incredibly lazy.
Overall the topping bar was clean. As I was putting on the toppings, a young man came out of the kitchen and acknowledged me. The checkout process was short and unremarkable.
Overall, a clean shop in a convenient location with a good variety of healthy and unhealthy toppings. Sadly, the below-​average yogurt itself really drags the place down. Fix the base and chop up your berries, please!

Unbelievably expensive, especially the shakes. The price for a medium size shake (the only size they have) has gone from $ 4.00 to $ 5.00 to $ 6.00 in a matter of a few months. Even plain yogurt shakes with no additions are $ 6.00. When I asked why the price increase, the cashier rudely told me that she didn’t know, she said the $ 5.00 button on the cash register had just disappeared so now all shakes are $ 6.00. My advice is to go to the grocery store and buy our own yogurt to enjoy. There is a staggering high markup on the frozen yogurt at this place!

I absolutely love this place! Their froyo is cheap, fresh and delicious. Their service is outstanding and the woman working behind the counter even remembered my name from the last time I came in! I would recommend this to all, young and old, who enjoy a frosty treat!

I passed through a couple blocks of NW 23^rd today and witnessed, yet again, the amazing line snaking around Salt n Straw. Is it a cool place? Yeah and they have some good things. Would I stand in that line. no. I was perfectly happy heading west bound on Burnside right up to Miller/​Barnes to Twist. No line, lots of toppings and I was back out the door.
Yeah I know. two different things but .the end result was the same. I had something cold and sweet and it took me a whole 4 minutes?
Great yogurt compared to other places. Big topping selection and Unilocal gave me a $ 2 off koopun! (Ron White fans will get it)

I went here with a few friends on a Saturday night around 8p.m. I liked the idea of the flavor separator they have. The flavors we nice, but they didn’t have very many and some of them came out super solid, not like a soft serve.
The toppings were lacking and for the «fruit» topping they had sad frozen strawberries, frozen raspberries and tiny pieces of frozen mango. Here’s a tip for the owner… COSTCO cheap fresh fruit…
This place is not very large, so when some woman came in with her 3 terrors, it kind of ruined the mood. They totally took over the froyo area while we were in the middle of picking our flavors. The the terrors (3 girls) went running around the entire place stepping on our feet while their Mother just sat there texting, (clearly she’s a «cool» mom)
It is cool that this place has a pac man arcade game that is free, but I would say unless you live super close and you have a lot of rambunctious kids, there are better places to go.

Fave place for a quick & yummy treat. The cake batter flavor tastes just like licking the spoon!

Lots of yogurt flavors but I was disappointed with the toppings! They didn’t have chocolate sprinkles… Come on! Who doesn’t have chocolate sprinkles?
And another thing… No compostable containers or spoons, that’s a huge plus in my book. HUGE.

I really enjoyed this place. Lots of fresh fruit toppings and yogurt flavours. Calm environment. I also love the free arcade games.

I don’t know why all the two star or less reviews… This place is awesome! Mainly it’s clean… organized and the staff is happy. Keep on Twistin! I’m there at least 2 times a week… and I will return, thanks Twist people!

I love coming here for a few different reasons. The first reason, they constantly have new flavors. They are switching out the flavors often and it’s so nice to be able to try a variety of different kinds (although I always end up getting vanilla). They offer little sample cups so you can try the new flavors. Secondly, the toppings are always fresh and delicious. The fruit is always fresh, the chocolate is always good (not all stuck together and melted like some establishments) and the toppings are always full so you don’t have to worry about your favorite topping being out. The third reason why I love this place is the customer service. The girl that is always working while I’m there is an absolute doll. She is so sweet and friendly. She always gives me advice on different froyo combos to try and is just all around a nice person. This place is clean, welcoming, and a positive environment. So thanks for a great experience, every time! I don’t see why someone would give this place a negative review.

The owner has always seemed quite rude, eery, and unprofessional. Not only do I get a really bad feeling about him, he also has said some unkind words to us and to our children! If another yogurt place opens up nearby, I’d be really excited, but I will not return here!

I didn’t really want to like this place, but I do! I used to live in the neighborhood and was pretty excited about it opening, but I always felt like «oh great, yet another frozen yogurt shop in town.» This place really executes a solid fro yo place though. First off, they use «Yo Cream.» That’s worth 3 stars already. They have an awesome and diverse list of toppings and it’s a nice, cheery, and very clean atmosphere.
They’re also not one of those stupid places that makes you ask for a sample cup to try a flavor, free flowing tastings here!

Great place. Always, friendly. They may not always have my favorite flavors but what can I say. I love that they have Movie people come by and give away free tickets, posters and t-​shirts too. They also always give my dog a special treat.

So good! I got the pistachio frozen yogurt thanks to the nice employee that suggested it! I loved it so much that I’m taking my husband their tomorrow!

I won’t be coming back and I would not recommend this place.
There is nothing special the flavors, generic from yocream. They are also very watery and runny.
The owner is also very rude, even though he said he is proud of their family-​friendly environment!
After I purchased and paid our yogurt, my toddler pooped. And the owner asked me to changed her diaper. Since the yogurt was very watery I was just going to have her finish and not waste it. But instead, the owner opened the door for us and asked us to leave. I asked if he has a changing table in the restroom, but he said no. Again, I thought they are family friendly? There is no other customer at that time, and I am not surprised if this is how he treats his customer.

I like this place. It’s inviting inside, has a good selection of YoCream yogurts and toppings (without having an overwhelmingly ridiculous amount of choices) and has friendly staff. They even have sample cups for you to try the different yogurt flavors.
They’ve also told me that most of the flavors are gluten-​free, except for ones like Cake Batter. I haven’t verified that by looking at a label, though, so I’d recommend anyone’s with celiac disease do be more thorough before eating it.

I visited the establishment last night with my boyfriend and was less than impressed. It seems with all of the yogurt shops opening up these days that customer service would be more of a priority than it is in this place.
The yogurt seemed to be slightly softer than other places I have tried and I prefer the more firm yogurt.
I was a little shocked at the .45 an ounce yogurt as well. My favorite shops runs right around .35 and that is quite the jump.
The music was too loud and it was a little dificult to carry on a conversation.
I got to the store around 8 or 8 30 and it seemed like everything was getting ready to be closed up, seemed a little early to me.
Besides these things I thought the overall atmosphere was enjoyable and I liked the board games, it was a nice touch.
Probably wont be back and wouldnt reccomend to anyone, there are other places I would prefer to go to for frozen yogurt.

We are overjoyed that this business moved into our neighborhood! They just opened this month, and they have gotten their act together very quickly.
Every time I have been there, the employees couldn’t have been sweeter. I’ve seen them being great with children, offering them samples, and chatting with them. There is not a whole lot of customer interaction, as it is self-​serve– but they are helpful and ready to answer any questions.
The best part about this place is their super fresh fruit toppings! The strawberries melt in your mouth. None of the fruit tastes canned, or like it came from a freezer.
I think the prices are reasonable too. I can get a good sized portion for about $ 3-​$ 4.
The lounge is very clean, brightly lit, and has ample seating as well as a fireplace. And a classic Pac-​Man game.
Also they have tons of fun toppings, including bacon bits. Really hoping they stick around.

Same machines and similar toppings as Lucky Spoon. The 15yr old wanna be Hipsters behind the counter talking about being «Allergic to Sexual Harassment and Glitter» wasn’t at all like the friendly and Professional service at Lucky Spoon.
The owners need to reign in the kids or replace them in this affluent neighborhood or this new business will not last.
