My comment isn’t so much about the pizza but the business itself, we ordered on line requesting a specific delivery time but it arrived 2 hours early. The order was accepted but we explained the mix up to the driver, he passed on the info because shortly after I received a call from the owner apologizing for the mix up and explaining there is a glitch in their ordering site and are working on correcting it, he also said he would send another fresh order if the incorrect time interfered with our plans. I certainly appreciated the effort of not only calling but willing to make it right. The pizzas were delicious, we all liked them and will continue to be a customer. Nice doing business with you.

Meh. One of the few non chain pizza joints that delivers to my house. Granted I’m pretty particular about my pie, but I’m not a fan of the crust on these pies. More flaky than chewy. Delivery takes at least an hour in my experience(3 orders), with one being almost 90 minutes. The delivery guy forgot our bottle of Coke, but went down to Plaid Pantry and bought us a replacement! Kudos to the staff for making things right.

A fun and campy hole in the walk pizzeria. The food is good, not amazing, but good. One plus is the sauce they use sets them apart from other pizza joints(spicier than what you are inclined to find at a standard restaurant). They have great prices and varying daily specials including 20% off on takeout orders on Tuesdays. Definitely a good choice for pizza in the area.

I liked the crust, but the sauce was way too spicy! It tasted like red pepper flakes and I was crying trying to eat it. It would be nice if they offered a non spicy option I just had a slice of pepperoni and a slice of ham and pineapple and it was just fiery red sauce that made my mouth burn and my eyes water. :(

two VERY different experiences here. ordered to pickup a couple of months ago and service was super friendly, pizza was great. ordered again tonight for delivery and the order taker was very short with me on the phone with a slightly rude intonation, and while the delivery was fast, the pizza left a lot to be desired. toppings sliding off and very messy. needless to say this will be my last time ordering from here.

UFO pizza has some very unique crust, it’s twisted, which I feel makes it a little crispier. They use good dough, and good ingredients. Their pizza is a little on the smaller side so when I came in for slices the other day, I found them to be kind of overpriced. $ 2.50 for cheese and $ 3 for other toppings sounds like a good deal, but a slice is pretty small here. The staff was very friendly and the business has a very nostalgic, artsy vibe which I appreciated.

This place was the closest pizza joint to our AirBnb house and was open late when we arrived to Portland, so we went in not expecting very much. The place itself is quiet small with a few tables and a TV, but their pizzas are simply unbelievable. So much so, that we even came back the 2nd time in our short stay in Portland. We tried both the pepperoni and Vege Alien(vegetable pizza). Our family pizza expert(my 11 year old) gave the pizza very high marks and begged us to eat there again(which we did). Both pizza very delicious, although I liked the Vege Alien better, but that’s just my taste.

Like the sign says, «Eating is believing.» Never a bad pie here… EVER! Thanks guys! Great eat-in service, take-out, and delivery on a rainy winter night. A small but decent beer selection(also available for delivery!). I love the sauce because it is a bit spicy. Because it is Portland, they also have a better-than-average happy hour. Nice li’l salads, too. I’m a fan AND a believer!

My husband and I have driven past this place several times without much of a thought. We wandered in here recently, with a hankering for pizza, and we weren’t disappointed! :) The place has a small, almost«hole in the wall» feel to it, but I wouldn’t say it’s a dive. It’s a quirky little UFO-themed(how I love Portland) pizza place with friendly staff and delicious pizza. Oh, the pizza! SO. GOOD. It is made fresh and comes to the table piping hot! Their cheese blend is absolutely delicious and their sauce has a perfect blend of flavor and spices. And that crust! The crust was crispy with a nice chew to it. The general ambiance is very laid back and chill. It’s the kind of place to go with your friends, have a cold drink and enjoy some pizza. The staff were friendly, helpful and got the pizza out fast. I loved all their UFO/space-themed menu items! For example, their cheese breadsticks were«space stix and solar sauce»! Oh, and props to them for the Muppet reference on the«Pigs in Space» pizza! :) So if you’re looking for a great slice of pizza with a quirky Portland chew to it, check out UFO Pizza! You won’t be disappointed!

UFO Pizza went above and beyond. I was looking for a local, independently owned pizza place to buy pizza for a garden work party I was putting on for 20 kids in outer NE Portland. The problem is, there wasn’t a lot of affordable, independently owned options that delivered to that area and I wanted to put my organization’s money to something besides the big-box Papa Johns or Dominos. When I called UFO, they said they don’t normally deliver out that far but they may be able to make an exception. So, after consulting their deliveries for the time I needed it the next day, they said they could. No issues making the pizza into square slices, paid and tipped over the phone, and it was delivered promptly at the time desired. Plus, it was affordable and GOOD! Got the basic cheese,(huge 18″ for only $ 17) the«vege-alien» and the Apollo which is mozz, feta and olives because, well, olives are amazing. Can’t thank them enough! Will be ordering from them again if I ever need another large order. Best of all, according to their website, they just partnered up with a new local farm on the Columbia River Gorge! Not sure if their ingredients are being sourced from the farm yet, but this was another factor that played a role in me calling them up. Highly recommend – they’re the type of locally owned business that deserves your money.

Always our go to for pizza delivery and a slice! Great space, great service. If you are getting delivery, I would suggest asking for it well done. They move the delivery so fast from oven to box to your door, often it will continue to cook and soften in box. Once we began asking for it to stay in oven a little longer-just perfect. Owner is a great guy that strives to keep his customers happy with the product and service her provides.

Average pizza in a small closet-like building. Points to them for having markers and paper for my six-year-old daughter to play with. It reminded me of pizza places I’ve been to in NYC — simple pies with bottled beer in a very nondescript setting. Super friendly staff. I had a nice time, but wouldn’t be motivated to go back.

After my family decided on pizza for dinner, I scanned Unilocal as usual for local and highly recommended pizza places. I was sold on UFO after perusing the menu and after reading the numerous stellar reviews. The offer for online ordering and FREE delivery seemed like icing on the cake(or pie in this case). I placed our order online with ease and awaited a confirmation email. After almost 40 mins without any return contact, we decided to call and follow up. The first attempt went straight to what sounded like a cell phone voice mail that told us the person at the number was unavailable. The second call was answered by a woman who stated they were too busy to check any online orders and hadn’t even looked at ours yet. She also added that the estimated wait time for delivery was 1hr 45 mins — 2 hrs out. If we wanted our pie sooner, she suggested we pick it up ourselves. Although we were all eagerly anticipating pizza for dinner, neither driving to UFO or waiting late into the night for food at home appealed to anyone, so with extreme disappointment we canceled our order. I am surprised that a business that supposedly offers such a great product doesn’t seem to back it up with effective management of online or phone systems and then lacks the customer service to make me believe that they really care. I wanted to love you UFO pizza, but unfortunately I didn’t even get the chance.

This place it totally Portland-esque with it’s quirky obsession of space, aliens, and UFO décor. They even name all of their pies in spacey terms, i.e. The Galaxy, Space Cowboy. Their pizza definitely has variety and while I won’t say that it’s among the best pizza I’ve ever had, I’m giving this place 4 stars based on the great customer service we received from the owner and the overall atmosphere here. Super nice guy, very decent prices on whole pizzas and slices, and they also have a pretty good selection on local beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. If you’re in the mood for eating some place a little different this should definitely be on your list. They also have a lunch special: 2−4pm = $ 7 for a slice, salad, and drink. Can’t beat that! Oh! They also do free delivery and WILL deliver a 6-pack if you choose!

After a long day of lounging around along the river, my friends and I decided to check this place out. It was empty when we got there and the guy behind the counter was super friendly. He was very accommodating(allowed to substitute different things) and the pizza came out fairly quickly. We got the Thailandia and it was amazing! I’d definitely will check it out again to try their other awesome pizzas!

I’ve had lots(and lots) of pizza since getting to Portland, but UFO has really set the bar for me in terms of quality, price, and speed to deliver. I can honestly say that the last pizza I ordered from them(Space Cowboy!) was the freshest pizza I have ever eaten — it was like it had just come out if the oven, delicious! Delivery guy was great, friendly, and a dog guy — so extra points there. Big fan of these guys and happy to give them my business!

First Review(5 stars) — We just moved to the neighborhood. What better to do while moving than order pizza. We saw online that they have free delivery. They also had a 2 medium one topping pizzas for 20 bucks. So far so good! Then over the phone they guy let us get the deal with cheese and added the two toppings to the other one pizza. Then the pizza arrived! We are pizza lovers, and this place has some of the best pizza We’ve ever had. Twisted crust, perfect sauce ratio, cheap &?delicious toppings! Second Review(2 stars) — this place used to be so good! It was our go to pizza delivery place. Lately the pizza has been seriously lacking. It’s like each time the pizza has been worse and worse. The last pizza we got was over cooked with hardly any sauce and the chicken was dry.

I am really loving the Unilocal application I have for my Windows phone. It helps me to find hole in the walls like UFO Pizza. I’m always on a quest to try some of the lesser known eating establishments in town and the Unilocal app is certainly helping me find places like this. Sue and I both had a craving for pizza. Where might we get some close to where we were at the time that we were thinking about having pizza? I pulled out my phone and did a quick search and one of the first was UFO Pizza. The reviews looked good. The pictures of the pies looked good. We were on it. The place was pretty quiet on a lazy Saturday in the early evening hours. We walked right in and ordered our pie and took a seat at the very interesting picnic tables out front. More on the very interesting part in a bit. Interesting menu here. First off you have 2 size choices for pizza. The medium is $ 18 and the large is $ 24. They do not price each pie separately. Two prices. What you choose is up to you. They allowed us to split our pie in half. Two different kinds on one pizza for $ 24. The large is a very nice size. We went with half Galaxy(Pepperoni, Sausage, Bell Pepper and Onion) and half Space Cowboy(Tangy BBQ Sauce, Chicken Breast, Bacon, Pepperoncini and Red Onion). Let us take a step back for a moment. I usually like to try the plain slice before I try anything else at a pizza place I’m going to for the first time, but this meal was Sue’s choice so she was the one choosing. Both sounded good to me and I was quite happy to eat this pizza. We waited about 15 minutes or so and our very big pizza came out to us. The Space Cowboy was packed with toppings. I’m quite surprised the slice stayed intact for most of the ride. Sign of a good crust. This pizza is NY style. Not quite what you would get in NY, but a good representation for Portland, OR. Sue and I each had 2 slices and we took the rest home for lunch the next day. It held up well and was quite tasty cold. Back to the picnic tables. I’m not sure how they haven’t fallen apart. It was like a see saw. Any time I got up, Sue on the other side of the table dropped a few inches. I forgot a few times and got up quickly. Needless to say she wasn’t very happy with me. I had to announce when I was about to stand up so that she in turn could stand up. Side note to UFO management. You might want to invest in some new tables. Happy to try another pizza shop in town. Happy that it was pretty good. I hope to try the plain slice next time I’m around here as well as one of their custom pies. I look forward to it.
