Wow! Best tree service I’ve used by a long shot! I don’t leave reviews often, but I felt obligated here.
Price was great, nobody beat it. He showed up 15 minutes early (on the dot). Found out the job was harder than expected, but charged the same and gave more than agreed.
Service was better. Jeremy is obviously extremely knowledgable and suprisingly passionate about his work; he was really enthusiastic and amicable (a rare quality in contracted work these days)! Not only that, but he offered to cut my tree into firewood length for free so I could sell it! This is the second time I’ve had a tree removed, and a totally different experience. I don’t want to bad mouth the other guy, but this service was 10x better!

Thank you Jeremy and team. Urban Timber pruned two large trees on our parking strip, an apple tree and a pear tree. They also removed a faltering Ash tree and trimmed loads of brush and trees overhanging our yard from our neighbors. Reliable. Punctual. They cleaned up after finishing their work. Their pricing was reasonable and a bit lower than a competing bid. We will work with them again in the future.

We recently purchased a property that had been neglected for years. It’s possible that the trees had never been trimmed. This was especially an issue considering that a few of the trees were of the sort that would drop a limb when it lacked water. Given this past summer’s weather this was an issue. Considering that these trees were on the main road and in the driveway, it was critical that they be cut back. Jeremy and his team worked to not only safely cut the trees down but also to trim back the ones that would remain. I’m very happy with their work and enjoyed seeing the result. Would definitely recommend!

Urban Timber is the best tree service I’ve used, and I’ve used a few. Urban Timber’s owner Jeremy is very ethical in that he only agrees to prune trees when it’s the right season. Other companies I have dealt with will prune trees at any time just to make the sale. Jeremy’s knowledge about trees is incredible and he has a very kind approach. His prices are reasonable and he is very communicative.

We hired Jeremy’s company to take down some «volunteer» plum trees and trim some very overgrown arbor vitae hedges which had both plum trees and blackberry vines growing into them. Jeremy responded promptly to our inquiry and gave us a very reasonable bid. He and his assistant showed up on time and worked hard for 4 hours. I think they may have underestimated how long it would take, as they had another job following ours and were a bit rushed at the end. They nonetheless managed to clean everything up and it all looked so much better after they were done. Thanks!

Jeremy and his crew were absolutely amazing and extremely professional. We hired them to remove 12 trees in our backyard, cable two large oak trees as well as a full trim on the 3 trees we decided to keep. The crew showed up on time (we have found this to be so very rare when hiring contractors for anything) and we were very impressed in how they took every precaution to ensure our house recieved no damage as well protecting the safety of the entire crew! They were super fast, only taking half a day to complete the entire job and we had such a blast watching them swing from tree-​tree with chain saws! I have already referred friends and clients their way and will continue putting our name behind their company by continuing to send people their way! :)

These guys did a great job taking out 2 large redwoods that were looming over our new house. They were professional and very easy to deal with. They showed up on time and left the rounds neatly piled for us to use as we pleased. They even recommended a great company to come grind down the Stumps that were just as pro. We highly recommend them.

These guys are awesome! Back in March I had a big tree split in half, and blow down partially into my neighbors yard. Jeremy was out of town on his honeymoon, but his brother took my call, and made an emergency trip over the next day to pull the tree back over into my yard, and cut it into pieces to hold me over until they could come finish the job a couple days later. They went above and beyond to take care of it for me quickly during a really busy time (there had just been a big windstorm).
A few weeks later I had them back out to cut down two other large problematic trees in my yard. My roommates were home, and watched the whole thing, and sent me footage of it as it progressed. They were impressed at how safe and professional the guys were, and I was impressed at how clean they left my back yard. These guys are really great, accommodating, professional, and reasonably priced. I have a few other trees to cut down and will definitely use them again!

You guys are the best!!! Within making contact and finished job, this was under 1 week time with the most helpful, knowledgeable, professional experience I have had in a long time. Thank you for making this unexpected tree falling so easy and no stress for us. You went above and beyond assessing and planning for any future problems you saw and that is so appreciated.

Urban Timber did a great job! They were very responsive and professional over the phone. They showed up on time and made quick work of a very overgrown cherry tree without damaging my prize winning roses! All the debris was cleaned up and I hardly knew they’d been there!
