This is definitely the place to go if you are looking to get ripped off. I went in because they don’t give prices over the phone for something like a root canal. So Friday morning I was quoted a price well over what a root canal generally costs. However, I was in pain and needed it to be taken care of soon. I made a tentative appointment for the following Monday, but as soon as I left I called every other dentist in town to try to find a reasonable price. Late Friday afternoon I was able to get an appointment with a dentist who would charge me about $ 500 less. First thing Monday morning, I called Dr. Underwood’s office to cancel my appointment, as they were closed for the weekend.
Guess what, they sent me to collections over the $ 50 canceled appointment fee. Technically, there was not even 24 business hours from the time the appointment was made until the actual appointment. When I tried to talk to the office about it, the witch let me know that I should have called the after-​hours emergency number to cancel. Dumb me, didn’t know how greedy this dentist office is, or else I would have known it was an emergency! I now owe this place $ 70+ for absolutely nothing.
Avoid this place unless you like to waste your hard-​earned money!
