I had the pleasure of an afternoon trail ride and lesson from Laura Stevens. I am just getting ‘back in the saddle again’ after a lengthy break and Laura was cognizant of that. She combined camaraderie along with lessons along the way which i greatly appreciated. While I rode Western out of comfort due to trail riding, i have been recently been taking English classes. Laura helped me understand the variances of the two, had me rein English to assist in consistency in that trianing and we had a GREAT time! I was fortunate to ride out of the Wunderlich Park Folger Stables where she also maintains a couple of horses. The scenery was great as well as the ride!

I know of no better horse trainer, rider and teacher than Laura Stevens. She is absolutely the best. I have worked with her since 1997. If you get a chance to take lessons from her, learn from her, lease a Welsh Cob or Pony, it will be an experience you will treasure for your entire life.
