Never disappoints! I was so busy at work that I did not eat lunch and I was starving! I walked in and ordered a bacon cheeseburger with small fries. While I was in there, I was offered a free sample of their strawberry shakes. Yikes! I should have ordered something smaller and left room for dessert!
That strawberry shake was delicious! There were still small bits and pieces of real strawberries and it was not over powering sweet. It was just perfect! Next time you are in there, check it out! I know I will!
As for my burger, it was juicy and tender at the same time. The bacon was generous and the toppings I added too. The fries were all gone too!

Five Guys is interestingly placed next to Red Robin — however please know you’re still going to spend about the same price for a burger, fries, and a drink regardless. Five Guys has great food but is SUPER expensive for a burger and fries. Place is also very clean and the Pininfarina designed Coke machines are killer — worth going here regardless though because the food is killer.

I eat here all the time. The burgers are top notch and so are the fries! You can eat until you are full and everything digests very well so its not too greasy. Clearly one of the best burger places around here! I love the fact that there are so many different toppings, you can go there everyday and not have the same burger twice.

Good burger and chocolate shake. The only complaint I have is you are right on top of someone when you go to sit down to eat. Some customers don’t say «excuse me» when they need to get something, so they will push into you to get out. If you’re like me you don’t like to sit on top of strangers order out to go and eat in the car. This place attracts a lot of the young crowd which is surprising because their burgers aren’t cheap not a lot job openings in the area.

The workers at this specific place are completely rude. I am going to guess that the ones in the gray shirts are some sort of «supervisors»? Considering they stand out more from the ones in the red shirts and also seem to be older.
Anyway, it was getting very busy and one of the gray shirts was getting very frustrated to the point where he was rude to every customer. Poor service. Extremely poor service.
However, food is great. A little overpriced but for a good reason.

I have to say, this is by far one of the best burgers around. I first tried this place back when it opened in 2009, and after trying it last month, I am happy to say that it is still delicious as ever. We came on a week night, freezing as can be outside, and WOW — was it packed! [I didn’t expect that]. Their burgers are just beyond delicious — well made, toppings are really great [love that you can add what you want without cost — try doing that at Red Robin next door!], and the fries are very delicious.
I really enjoyed the cajun fries — a bit salty, so be warned. I really highly recommend having a milkshake. You can also customize it to your every heart’s desire. I had a chocolate milkshake with cherries (those beautiful, big fat black cherries), and it was one of the best milkshakes I ever had.
I love this place, but for my diet, I don’t go very often. If you’ve never been to a 5 guys, go ASAP!

For a burger joint really good. Build your burger how you like it, order the fries, sit down and wait. Free peanuts help pass the time. One of the best burgers from a chain I’ve tried.

Probably one of my favorite fast food places. It’s cool that you can add your toppings for free and the Cajun fries are bangin!

This was my first time trying 5 Guys. All of my friends raved about it so much that I finally decided to give it a try. I wasn’t disappointed, but I’ve had better. They give you fries whether you order them or not, which is cool. But I accidentally ordered a batch with my meal and I ended up with way too many fries, and soggy at that. I just wouldn’t say it was my favorite burger joint.

Great burgers and decent fries. Loved the peanuts. Only complaint, lots of dirty tables. Real turnoff.

My favorite burgers in town, you can’t do better for price vs quality, definitely.
The fries are pretty bad though. Always over cooked or under cooked, soggy or crunchy. There is no consistency, so I just gave up on getting fries. And considering it says ‘burgers and fries’ the fact that the fries are garbage heavily weighted my rating against them.
They are lucky those burgers are so darn good!

This is consistent with other locations I have sampled. A great burger joint, quick service, clean atmosphere. They have very good french fries and make a sloppy cheese burger that is very satisfying. Last time I was in there something struck me, I was standing toward the back waiting for my number to be called and I noticed all the people in front of me were practically drooling on themselves and pacing back and forth impatiently. They literally couldn’t wait to get their hands on those tastey burgers and fries. I hope I’ve not inadvertently done before this when I was in there, …been a hungry zombie I mean.

After previously trying out Five Guys in the city, I had to see if their newer location up here in Dutchess County was up to snuff. It was. Actually, this location is a lot cleaner and spacious than most of the NYC locations, and that’s always nice. The food was just as good: here are some words from my previous review of one of the NYC Five Guys:
«The meat was fairly light, cooked just right, and still juicy. The fries were larger than the usual fast food shoe-​string type, and were not too crispy, not too flimsy, but right in the middle. Still a bit greasy, but that’s expected. The free peanuts are a nice touch, too»
Same applies here. The only problem, for me, is that I made the mistake of ordering the big 2 patty burger when I really should’ve settled for the smaller version. I’m getting old and can’t handle giant burgers and huge portions of fries anymore, sadly. Even the smaller size of fries is too much food for me. Anyway, whatever you order, you get your money’s worth. Five Guys is a good place for lunch or cheap dinner.

My review is not just based food which was good, nor is it on the serve which was good considering the line of people. As I began to order my burgers, I was impressed at the selection of toppings, but the I felt the steam coming off of the lady with the 4 kids behind me as I was choosing my toppings. With that being said, I felt as if I added something I really didn’t want (what was it that I put on my burger anyway), get it. Ok the pressure is off, and I couldn’t wait to indulge, so as I waited for the burger and fries (waiting for food is a good thing), I seemed to be standing in the wrong spot every time. Number 96 was called, and I shouted BINGO.

An excellent choice for meeting up with friends. The atmosphere is a bit like a cafeteria, but that just emphasizes the burgers and fries. Friendly staff make sure that orders are filled quickly and accurately, with customer service a high priority.

Five guys offers a consistantly good burger. I’ve visited a few of their locations now and I’ve never had a bad experience. This particular location is in a little bit of an odd location, it’s on the ground floor of an office building, it feels a little cramped inside. It was pretty busy on the day we visited so that might have contributed. Seems to be a popular destination for the college kids in the area. I had forgot that Po-​town had a Five Guys, now I’ll be sure to visit when I make my monthly trips to Half-​Time to stock up on brew!
