Rude young Indian woman at the counter and their prices are just to high for that kind of attitude.

We tried Gloria bakery at several occasions and different locations in NYC. We loved their carrot cake and caramel brownie. All cakes were freshly baked, portions are generous and prices honest. A must try if you have a sweet tooth.

I just visited this establishment and was very disappointed. I ordered a large frozen drink which cost almost $ 8. It tasted mostly like water. When I told them it didn’t taste right, the guy poorer the same drink back in the blender and added more chocolate too it. That is both unsanitary and illegal. When I asked if he had just done what he just did right in front of me he lied right to my face denying what I had just witnessed. Well I tasted it again and then repeated the same experience but this time he added coffee to the same drink again. At this point I simply gave up. It’s over priced, unsanitary, unfriendly, and just not very good. Avoid at all costs.

I’m surprised this place doesn’t have more stars! I got there just as they opened and got my first pumpkin spice latte of the season. The owner was charming and the coffee was delicious. Mall coffee usually isn’t the best, but this place pleasantly surprised me.

God awful coffee. Hubby and I both tried their seasonal flavors. He tried the Pumpkin Spice and I tried the Apple Caramel. Hey were both lukewarm and tasted like mud. We had to ask them to heat the coffee up bc lukewarm + milk = cold coffee! Gross.

Their cool coffee blended drinks taste delicious, but they are near $ 7.00 for a medium sized one. This is way overpriced… Only go here if you don’t mind the prices. It is a cute little coffee shop with small desserts and snacks, but too pricey.

Today, I had Gloria Jeans for probably the 8th time in my life. A small goes for around $ 5…which is very pricey, that’s why I don’t go here much. Today, I got a vanilla cookies and cream drink. I usually get Mocha Coconut, which is always a safe bet, but the samples they were giving out convinced me to get the former. They sell cups, coffee, cookies, and such. There’s a little seating area for around 4 people to sit but that’s not a big deal because there’s seating outside. The store is on the bottom floor by Sears and Brookstone. The Poughkeepsie store is either crowded or completely empty. There’s usually girls in high school working here. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a man work there since their inception(around 2007) except the owner. Not sure if they prefer female baristas or guys don’t want to work there.
