Bruski Burgers & Brew

Good service, but burgers were bland and buns were low quality. Don’t recommend for food, but may be a nice place for watching games and having beer.

Came in for a quick lunch break away from work. The place was decorated nicely and had a nice vibe to it. I ordered the Mac and Cheese which was pretty tasty. The spoon that they gave me was made for a giant though, so I had to change utensils after a few tries. The bottles of booze on the wall around the place was pretty awesome to see but could have used a good dusting. I am definitely coming back after work for a beer one of these days to give that a shot.

Nice Clean place to eat and have a beer. Good addition to the area. I came at around 2pm on a monday. It was very clean and the two ladies working were very nice. The prices were reasonable. I wasn’t blow away by the food but it was good. I’ll come back.

I had been here once before for drinks and the experience was fine. Went for dinner tonight with wife and sister and her husband. Ordered the cheesey burger that has a chipotle aioli sauce. They put the sauce under the burger and by the time I had my first bite the bottom bun was soaked through and fell apart. Tried to finish it with knife and fork but the meat just fell apart. When our server Alex finally came back by the table near the end of our meal, we told him about it and he just shrugged his shoulders and said that’s how they do it. Absolutely a terrible experience. Will not go back for food again.

Bruski’s is a great place for good bar-​style food (burgers and sandwitches) that don’t taste like bar food. The burgers here are incredible, with some almost hipster-​quality combinations that I never would have thought up but turn out to be fantastic. The beer selection is great, and the wait staff is fantastic. Sitting inside can be a bit noisy, but the patio is nice. Finally, the food comes out REALLY fast, making it a great spot to go when you want a full service restaurant but are also really hungry.

Help me I’m lost this place is awesome. Food, drinks and company is great. Pacifico would have been better on tap then modelo! :) for cinco de mayo.

This bar does have a large variety of beer but the food and mixed drinks have gone way down hill! I won’t be eating here again in fear that I would get sick. From rotten lettuce, horrible tasting chicken, and greasy french fries… no more for me!

This place deserves a higher rating! I always go straight to the bar and the service is always so gewd. Wish I got her name but the bartender is awesome and has a great attitude.
Sat at the barstool facing the kitchen door and the cooks look so hard working back there. I could see everything being made through their little window in the door.
Sports games everywhere, they literally had baseball, basketball, and hockey playing at the same time.
Place is packed around 730 even on the patio. Sign of good business. Keep up the good work!
Don’t forget that happy hour is all day Monday and Tuesday :) oh and I’m pleased to find out they have Thai teas here! Yum

Went during Happy hour. not so happy. When I walked in the bar area was full. Which is expected since its happy hour but don’t really enjoy sitting at table by my self. Think they should at least expand the bar or add more seats. Sat near the door since it was only table available. That or another room in there back, no thanks!
Took about 5 minutes for waitress to acknowledge me. At least she came by & asked if I’ve been helped. But disappointed 1. Only wine is discounted not cocktails 2. My appetizer wasn’t discounted probably because she put it in a few minutes passed the HH.
I ordered 2 classic margaritas on rocks w/​salt and she suggested the Gouda bites. The cheese bites caught my attention so I ordered those, trusting her. Wow! Ifs our rally want an explosion of cheese order those. Good thing the dude gave me some napkins lol! The margaritas were Strong. I babysat my second one while I people watched.
The service was meh! Not memorable for $ 22 at least come by my table and check up on me or start a conversation. Good thing I have Unilocal to keep me entertained. Since HH only 3 – 6 I think I go somewhere else

Underwhelming burger. Dried out tomatoes and cucumber in the Greek salad. What an expensive ($ 30 with tip) disappointment!

Meh– nothing special and kinda pricey. To start with the good, the service was great. Super friendly and helpful.
The food– I ordered the avocado bacon and cheddar burger without the bun. I didn’t feel like it was anything special. The part that was a little annoying was to get a side salad instead of fries was an up charge of $ 3. It came with lettuce some shredded carrots and two cucumber slices. Which brought my burger up to about $ 15. The wings were mediocre, not «crispy» but rather they had large pieces of fat on them that were rubbery. Probably won’t be back.

Saw this place on Unilocal and we thought we would give it a try.
I’m giving it between a 3 and 3 ½ Stars.
The Ambience is a solid 4 Stars.
Nice Bar 4Stars.
Service And Staff were very nice and helpful. 4 Stars.
Speed Of Food Delivery. 4 ½ Stars.
Quality of food tried. 2 ½ To 3 Stars.
The Sausage Platter was the best thing we tried.
The burger Onion Sliders were small and Overcooked.
The Pulled Pork Sliders Were Only Slightly better than the burger sliders. A bit overly sweet.
Both types of sliders are a bit over priced.
They Have a great selection of great beers and wine. Also a bit high priced.
Sadly the food was less than special.
Might Try It One More Time in the future just to be fair.

The burgers are pretty good here. Friendly service, pretty fast. Awesome music selection and an adequate amount of seating. Their burgers are premade, but fixed with fresh ingredients. It is on the pricey side, but I would come here again.

Came here with my buddy Hector to watch some football and have some great food and drinks. Sat at the bar and Jessica took such good care of us while chit chatting it up. Such a great atmosphere, chilled glasses with cold beers and big screens on a Sunday, whatever else would you need.. Jessica is awesome and will come back whenever I’m in the area .

Great service! Great beer! And their SOB burger is amaze balls!!!
We come here every few weeks when we feel like having a beer and a good burger or sandwich. Also they have a great patio that welcomes dogs! Our pup loves it here, they give him his own water and lots of pets! :-)
The staff has always been friendly and The energetic Chargers fan is great! All way smiling and super friendly!
They also have some great pint nights and specials, like their Samuel Smith special that gets you a shirt when you try all 5 beers!
So if you are looking for a laid back atmosphere and good beer this is your place!

I had been wanting to try Bruski’s since I moved to Sabre Springs and when my boyfriend and I finally decided to go, I was so disappointed. We teetered between 2 and 3 stars, but the fact that we will likely not go back made our decision.
We’ll start out with the positives. I like the restaurant/​bar itself. It’s very casual with plenty of seating. It’s the type of bar you’d go to for some appetizers and a beer wearing whatever you had on at the time. They were playing late 1990’s to early 2000’s pop, which I thought was fun and our waitress, who was also bartending, was very friendly. Our food and beers arrived quickly which we appreciated.
Unfortunately, the burgers were not very good at all. My boyfriend ordered the BBQ Bacon Burger and I went with the Chipotle Black Bean Veggie Burger. We both started out saying we liked them, but interestingly both thought they got worse as we continued to eat. In fact, I only ate about a third of my burger and just finished off the fries because I thought it was that bad. The black bean patty was very bland and there wasn’t enough chipotle aiole to add flavor. My boyfriend’s meat patty was thin and dry and he said his bun almost tasted stale. It was mediocre and at least quenched his burger craving, but when «burger» is in the name, they should at least be better than a Chilli’s burger.
I ordered the Cismontane The Citizen Lager which is similar to a Coors Light. I liked it and would order it again.

Well I took my boys here, wanting a dinner out, on a Monday, with just them. Unfortunately, most of the place was reserved for some sort of party. We ended up sitting on stools in a weird corner area facing the window. Made it very hard to talk to each other, but we did the best we could.
Kids had burgers — voted better than Islands.
I had the Rachel — also known as a turkey reuben. It was pretty good, though the ratio of bread to contents was way off and heavier on bread. Sweet potato fries were meh. The fried pickles are DANGEROUS they are so good. Made me thirsty as hell though. LOL.
Yes we will be back — and I will try a brew and a burger. The waitress was fab. Took good care of us and kept apologizing for the situation. It got pretty loud in there, but we got out before they all showed up…

This restaurant is mediocre at best. What could keep me coming back is the long list of beer – which leads me to my biggest issue here: some of the servers are under 21! I feel like one of my favorite things about going to a restaurant with an impressive alcohol list is being able to expand my horizons when it comes to alcohol or certain beer tastes, and with a server that is not of age, I don’t feel like I’m able to do that, and it’s definitely part of the experience.
I enjoy that they have a handful of my favorite drinks including:
+ Paulaner Hefe
+ Delirium Tremens
+ 21^st Amendment Hell or High
+ Strawberry margarita: not too shabby, a little too sweet
Being known as a burger place, I guess I came in with too high of expectations?
A couple of the burgers at our table had cheddar cheese that was too thin, burnt, hard to eat, and sharp! I was told the cheese was practically cutting their mouth/​tongue. I ordered the ABC burger (avo, bacon, cheese). The burger was falling apart, the bun was mushy, the meat was overcooked, and it was just a mess in it of itself. The fries were almost good if they weren’t soggy which is such a shame! We also tried the gouda bites which were also just ok.
Although the server was underage, he was still friendly and accommodating. Some of the other servers were rude and did not want to help you unless you were «sitting in their section.»
Overall probably would only come back for drinks due to its convenient location.

I was looking for a burger and beer so this place sounded like a good choice.
Pros: lots of TVs, some good beer choices (the Latitude 33 Honey Hips was yummy), tasty fries (in a McDonalds-​like way), and our first bartender was professional and attentive.
Cons: the fancy pants chicken burger lacked much flavor at all, the bun was particularly unimpressive (very fast food like), and our second bartender (after the shift change) and the rest of the staff was lackluster (for example, maybe they shouldn’t complain about work and coworkers literally right in front of customers and maybe they shouldn’t offer chilled tasters sometimes and unchilled ones other times).
