Domino’s Pizza

I’d seriously think twice about ordering from this Dominos. This one is newly established and based on my experiences (plural), is struggling to deliver great food and service.
Here is a rundown of my experiences thus far.
Pizza delivered 45 min past expected delivery window time. Pizza cold and wrong beverage. Called to talk to the «manager» and was told it wasn’t his fault. Basically a million excuses.
Second time I pre-​ordered (two hour advance). Pizza almost 40 minutes late AGAIN. At 20 minutes late I called and I was told one driver had four orders out in my area. the manager told me it would be five minutes. 15 minutes later I called again… and it was «uh I’m sorry I’ll call the driver and call you back.»
It seems like this place isn’t staffed adequately or managed appropriately. And my money is going elsewhere. There are a number of pizza options in the area that consistently deliver better pizza experiences. It’s a shame because I was always pleased with the experience from the Scripps pkway store (and now they don’t deliver in my area of Poway. :()

I barely eat pizza and the one day I was craving it… I ordered a delivery and I’m very disappointed. I ordered a pepperoni with mushrooms and wanted to use a certain coupon their website was offering. I called to make my delivery and tried using this certain coupon that came with a med pizza plus 8 pieces of wings and the guy (who was nice… I had no problem with him at all) has told me he doesn’t see that coupon on his system. Which is fine… I got the stuffed bread sticks instead. I am not satisfied at all. The pizza was too greasy and the bread sticks weren’t even that good and the cheese was like a fake rubbery texture. To be honest I’ve had better frozen pizza from Walmart than this place and I spent $ 17. So not worth it. I’ve never had a bad experience with dominos so idk if it was this certain location. I would like my money back I don’t even wanna eat this anymore and I’ve only had half a slice. Never again.

I had lost faith in Dominos. Decided to give it one last shot, ordered a pizza it came quickly, super fresh and pipping hot. Have ordered multiple times and have not once been disappointed. Ordered at 1235 it was here at 1255. Very impressed!

Very fast delivery as opposed to Round Table’s hour something window time frame. Placed the order online around 5:25 it was at my house by 5:55. The delivery driver was friendly, the pizza was good but slightly greasy.

Very disappointing first experience. Ordered a large pizza w/​pepperoni, onions, mushrooms. The credit card machine wasn’t working and the paper machine wouldn’t print out the receipt (even after the guy tried 3 times to fix it). Another guy came along to ask questions while I’m still waiting to pay for my pizza. It seemed to me like there was no one in charge and nobody was trained.
Anyway, I hit up this location bc it’s less than a mile from our house. I asked that the pizza be ready for pick up at 5:20. I paid $ 8.35 for the pizza (they accepted online coupons), which is reasonable. With much anticipation, I opened up my pizza box and the pizza looked good. But when I touched the pizza, it was cold.
I suspect that they made the pizza when I called (4:45pm) and then it just sat there until my pick up time came. Not a good first impression. BUMMER! Get it together Domino’s.
