This store just moved from its old location and the new place is much, much bigger. We found an awesome cast-iron wok on the sales floor, you might think that $ 29 is a lot for a used pot at a thrift store. I know better. Brand new that wok is $ 85 and let’s be real, did you ever hear of anyone ever wearing out a cast iron pan? NO. So $ 29 is a runaway BARGAIN and you better believe I didn’t put it down until I could put it in the trunk of my car! This bigger location was stocked with the stuff from the original store, so there were some empty racks because of the extra, unstocked space. That felt a little depressing, a little derelict. It’ll fill up soon enough. Some interesting stuff on the video shelves, but all of it was VHS. Too bad! I could have restocked my Disney collection. Same with the cassette music. Ah well. Interestingly, they had several stacks of brand-new, in-the-plastic mattresses on one wall. Didn’t notice the prices, but they were obviously brand new, never used. I don’t need a mattress but I was surprised to see them. I’ll be back once they’ve settled in a bit from moving.
