Went here to pick up an online purchase order because my item was not available in other stores. I had never been to this Macy’s and I likely won’t be back. There were two people working at the pick-up counter when I arrived, a man and a woman. They were both helping the same customer at the time so I waited. The woman offered to help me with my order but before I could give her my order’s information, she walked away towards her co-worker(without saying«excuse me for a minute» or «I’ll be right back») to finish giving him instructions with the other customer. When she returned, I gave her my driver’s license and she went to get my order. She had me sign and gave me my order. I was expecting a receipt and was not told it was already in the bag so I stayed at the counter. There was another customer standing next to me and she asked what they needed(also a pick-up order). She proceeded with the other customer so I asked her if we were finished and she replied«You’re done». No smile, no «Thank you», no «Have a good day» — I think someone may need to reconsider working customer service. Not to mention, my item does not look«new» and has a damaged box… I expected a little more from you, Macy’s… what happened?

Since the Macy’s in Metcalf Mall is no longer, this has become the Macy’s that I run to if I need a quick supplement to my wardrobe or perfume collection. It seems to be an older building, and service has never been amazing, but I have found a good deal or two. One word of caution, after purchasing a dress here, I found the same dress at Macy’s online for 10 $ less, on the same day. I hate bargain shopping, but will definitely be checking online sales prior to making purchases here.

Went to the Clinique counter today! Bought my purchases and got home and the clerk did not give me a receipt! What a hassle! So then I had to call the store and give them my credit card number to get a receipt. Hopefully their help is honest and doesn’t run off charging on my credit card.

The customer service is a definite 4 stars. The store is crowded and needs some sprucing up. So, lets go with a good solid 3. I like the location because it’s close to my home. I also like that it isn’t at the mall. But, as stated above, the store is older and super crammed with merchandise. Also stated above is the 4 star customer service. I have utilized the order/pay online and pick up at the store feature many times. Even with just picking up orders the people who have helped me are friendly. They take the time to make sure my order is correct. The time I ordered shoes they made sure they fit before I left the store. But since I am not a mall-crazed tween I prefer to shop here. Yes, the store is overcrowded but the employees certainly make up for it.

Wanted pants, certain brand, certain style. They have same brand but only one of the style and it’s not my size. So the salesclerk helpfully tries to place an order to get what I want from the warehouse and — MACY’S COMPUTERBLOCKSHERFROMPLACINGTHEORDER! Why? Could they, or their suppliers, be trying to «guide» us consumers to buy styles we don’t want but they are overstocked with? Certainly, they’re not trying to help me get what I want to buy; there’s only one pair in my size in the entire area, and I’ll have to go down to 119th St. if I want that; or 3 pair«in a store in Florida» — apparently nowhere else in the US. Smells of unregulated big business tactics to me. I am going elsewhere.

Really want to like this Macy’s because it is close to us but the service has been so poor. They took off in the middle of a transaction. 10 mins later she is at another sales counter.

Went in searching for a particular item as a gift. The associate in charge of my area, when asked«where can I find said item,» pointed to a wall then picked up her cell phone and began playing with it. I walked out and will not likely walk back in.

I love this Macy’s. It’s quiet, you get extra friendly customer service, the house-ware department is a great place for finding gifts, and best of all IT’S NOTINTHEMALL! I will say the clothing selection is geared toward the 40+ crowd, but if you take the time, you might be able to find a cute dress or skirt. I really try to avoid the mall these days and it’s just nice to have a Macy’s a little north.

Depressing, slow service. employees seem unhappy. I wish they would renovate this Macy’s or make it something else. I have the hardest time finding someone to help me. I feel like the customers are elderly, I’ve never seen someone young in this particular Macys. I just get so depressed being in here! Maybe if they updated the building and the stock it would be a better shopping experience.

I have a love/hate relationship with this Macy’s. Okay, «hate» is a little strong. But everyone who works there has a maximum speed limit which they may not exceed, and that speed is «molasses.» Okay, so I am usually in an enormous hurry when I stop in, but should it really take 15 minutes to wrap my purchase in tissue paper? I spend the most time in the housewares department and makeup counter. While the selection isn’t AMAZING, they have a pretty fair amount considering the size of the building. As far as apparel fitting my tastes… well, let’s just say I have never been in a dressing room… but it has been great for Christmas gifts, shower gifts and a makeup/perfume counter that keeps me from going to THEMALL(dah-dah-DAAAAAAAHM).

Definitely one of the best customer service I’ve received at a Macys. Thanks Dori!!! We needed to return some North Face gear and this was the closest Macy’s to us at the time. We were advised that this Macy’s doesn’t sell North Face apparel but that they would accept our return merchandise anyways. Dori made our experience wonderful. Thank you!!! We roamed around the store to do some shopping and found that all the other Macy’s associates were just as friendly and helpful. The best! Thanks!
