First time going to Essence, I got an appointment with Julie and I’m so glad I did! I haven’t had a haircut in at least a year and needed one badly, I felt safe in Julie’s hands, she is super friendly and we talked a lot, she’s been in the business for thirty years! She knows what she’s doing, my hair looks so beautiful and I’ll definitely be a returning customer! Thanks Julie!

Fantastic! I tried Essence based on the Unilocal/​facebook reviews and I’m so glad I did! Rosemary was so personable, gorgeous and talented!!! My hair is very fine and stylists typically don’t layer it right however Rosemary gave me a fantastic bob cut and I’ve been getting compliments all day.
This is now my salon!

I saw the reviews here and thought I would take a chance on a new stylist. I got a killer cut from Natalie, and really enjoyed my time there. She’s a fun, personable girl and really gives a great cut. I got an on-​trend «LOB» and walked out of there looking fresh, modern and ready for my closeup. It’s worth noting that she is great at styling too. I’ve had good cuts before but never liked the styling, as some stylists go old-​school with the curling iron and I end up going home and washing it. She knows how to use an iron in a very modern, fresh way. Love it!

Rosemary was my hairdresser for a cut and color and I could not be happier! My hair looks and feels so much healthier and the style is more flattering. She really customized the style to my face and body. She uses super sharp scissors so the cut is flawless. I asked for some fun, funky color and Rosemary went above and beyond. She came in with three color options for me and we ended up layering them all in together for a gorgeous gradient effect. Her chairside manner is just lovely. I will never go anywhere else again; I am so happy with my hair! Lots of compliments, too. Thanks, Ro!
