Thankfully this magnificent place is right down the street from our cabin! It was such a surprise to see a TJs here. Customer service was good for us, although we were only here for a few minutes and bought some bare necessities, and perhaps chocolate. We will be back!

Went in to grab some cheese and wine, stepped up to the wine sampling and the woman pouring the samples went out of her way to OVERLOOK my grandmother. Not unnoticed by other customers, who made a few remarks to my Grandmother, that apparently customer service was not something the employee was good at. Then as my Grandmother was reading out loud to herself what the wines were she pronounced it incorrectly, as we all do, and was loudly belittled by the employee who had previously overlooked her. When my aunt went to speak to a manager about it the manager then proceeded to ask where they were from, why they were in town, and when were they leaving… Since when is that information pertinent to shopping at a grocery store? Thank you Trader Joes for treating my recently widowed grandmother like shit while on her visit with me.

Today I went into this establishment seeking what I was told was«2 buck chuck», an item I know nothing about. This is to be a thank you gift for a special person that requested it. I saw nothing labeled as it was told to me so, I waited in line at the cheese counter only to be ignored by the store employee as she was too busy chatting with a friend. When I asked the woman employee, at the cheese counter, she rudely referred to «2 buck chuck» as the McDonald’s wine that this store sells. Hmm… nice promotion of product from a store employee… At checkout I was told that my 26 bottles of wine cost $ 35.36. I handed the cashier $ 40.36 and she handed me back $ 5.00. When I asked for a receipt she said the amount was wrong and I had given her the wrong amount, even though she stated $ 35.36 saying no, I told you the right amount. She took back the $ 5.00 and I gave her another $ 20.00 in cash, I received $ 10.00 dollars in change back, not the $ 15.00 it should have been. I told her she cheated me out of money. She said I was wrong. I turned to a lady at the desk and she said it was an honest mistake, yet I came up $ 5.00 dollars short. And was told I was wrong by both employees of Trader Joes. Something needs to be corrected if this is the way customers are treated.

First time visit to a Trader Joes in Arizona and I was floored to see mimosas, wine, and craft beer samples throughout the store. Literally, jaw dropped to the floor. Lost for words. Totally stoked. Happy dance through the produce section. Why yes, I would love to try that rose mimosa followed by mozzarella stick. Pumpkin cider to wash it down? Yes please. You Arizonans don’t know how lucky you are! Best shopping experience ever. Damn you and your ridiculous liquor laws, California!

Check out is smooth and I love the way the unload your cart for you and the care they take bagging. The staff is readily available and have always been friendly and helpful. Parking is not do good, but hey… And then there is the«2 Buck Chuck.»

What a thrill to have a Trader Joe’s in Prescott! I have shopped her many times and am so impressed with their quality of products and prices! I am always looking for a ready-to-heat meal for a break from cooking, and I have found it here! Try the frozen mandarin chicken or the pork bites-you won’t be sorry. Their selection of Christmas gift goodies this year was amazing!

I purchased a bouquet of lilys today at noon. I took them home, placed them in water, and by 5 p.m.(5) of the(8) lilys were basically gone. This is NOTACCEPTABLE.

I have yet to have a bad experience at a TJ’s and this one is no exception. The staff is all friendly, store is clean, well faced and stocked. If you like unique wine, chocolate, coffee and various food, this is a great place to shop.

I am so glad that Trader Joes is finally here. They have the best return policy, allowing you to try new stuff and if you don’t like it, simply return it. Between Costco nearby and trader Joe, s you can shop for any occasion and have the best party food of any of your friends or family or whoever. I love Trader Joes!

Prescott is fortunate to have a Trader Joe’s! I also live in a town about the same size, and we’re not as lucky. It’s nice to have some unique and healthier options. I really enjoyed the selection of inexpensive wines too.

This is my favorite Trader Joe’s ever. It’s a great location and it is not a cramped store. I’m glad it’s closer than going to Phoenix. A great way to spend an afternoon and get out of town: TJ’s, dowtown, lunch, and a drive up the Ash Fork way.

I loved TJ in Southern Ca and was happy to be in Prescott to go to this store. The lack of crowds was GREAT(in SoCal it’s like bumper cars in most stores) but the(probably) resultant lack of turnover seems to be a problem in the frozen foods section. ALL the frozen chicken thighs and breasts had visible freezer burn, and the tamales I bought turned out to be old and somewhat freezer burned too. This is a HUGE shame. PS.If you think TJ is supposed to be all health foods, you are just wrong. That is not their niche.

I am very pleased that Trader Joe’s finally made their way up to P town. There have been a lot of people patiently waiting for them to come. People are getting far more conscious of their diets and having healthier, organic alternatives. It is nice to have a place other than New Frontiers to find heathy foods. Sadly, they decided to locate near the mall, half way between Prescott and Prescott Valley. I strongly believe they missed the mark with the location, not based on visibility but commuting distance. Parking is terrible. There clearly would have been enough business up here for two locations… my humble opinion, of course. But, I would have put two stores, central to each city. So, as it is, the frequency of our visits will be more restricted. Gas price keeps going up, unfortunately. Maybe after the new wears off, the store won’t be quite so crowded. Until then, you might want to visit during later off hours.

Harsh review? You better believe it. TJ’s is the master re-label-er. Stand aside corporate wolf in sheep’s clothing. I’m headed to the Sedona or Prescott Farmer’s Markets. If I ever get up to these sorts of shenanigans I hope my customers call me out on it. True Story: The cashier told me there was something wrong with my ASV Tazi, and that we should get something else. We had to educate HER – tartaric deposits and yes, they are supposed to be there. Tahnk you, we will keep our Tazi. Great store for bachelors, and hipsters, but not for people who care about their local economy or who really give a doodle about product quality.

Awesome. It’s Trader Joe’s, for crying out loud. This store has been highly anticipated and requested for many years in Prescott, AZ. Finally northern Arizona residents do not have to drive to Phoenix to shop at Joe’s. Great prices, ‘meals’ sold enough for 2 people to eat(vs. enough for 4), it’s right next to the new 5 Guys Burgers, and well-staffed. The parking lot is WAY too small for such a busy location.
