Small town bar with a ton of afternoon regulars. 2−4−1 beers in the afternoon and they had Goose Island on draft, so bonus for me. Quiet and low key for a Friday afternoon. All the old men sitting at the corner of the bar drinking their bud lights flirting with my wife as soon as I went to the bathroom, was quite funny. Had to order food from down the street if your hungry, we passed on that. The bartender must of been 90, had no real interest talking to us out of town people, no worries though, part of the charm of the bar.

This bar is horrible. The service is terrible, the bartenders don’t know how to make even the simplest of drinks. It’s is nothing but a bunch of young girls with no personality or experience that over serve the hell out of people, or its a few old raggity, overweight bartenders with no self esteem that treat other woman like trash. The only reason I go there is because I have several friends that work in prescott and when I visit, we bar hop. The bar is so bright it feels like you are in a doctors office. Personally, when I go to a bar I want to sit and relax in a calming atmosphere and not be under bright lights and feel like I have a flash light in my face. It is nothing but drama there, they allow homeless people to come in and solicit money from paying costumers, it’s happened to us a number of times. Credible sources say the place is full of camaras and microphones that are streaming live to the owners’ home and from what I’ve been told they watch and listen to everything people say and do all day. So basically your every word and move is being watched live. It’s an uncomfortable place to hang out, unwind and relax with friends. The last time my friends and I were there we saw giant rat feces on the floor and about a year before that one was stuck to the rim on my friends glass, there are visible traps everywhere you look, like by the cig machine. If a bar has a pest problem, I don’t care, but at least try to keep it under control and hide the traps from the public. On Friday and Saturday nights they have hip hop music. Their prices go up about $ 2 a drink on those nights. it’s never even busy, however, it takes about 15 minuets for a bartender to even acknowledge you. I have to say that whiskey row pub is probably the lamest bar in the whole city of Prescott. It’s the place where all of the homeless crackheads hang out or just a bunch of young douch bags. Whiskey row pub is boring and classless.

While my girlfriend and I are frequent visitors to Prescott, we generally don’t partake too much in the bar scene and really tend to shy away from Whiskey Row(generally due to the police car lights we tend to see there on the weekends), we were entertaining some friends this past weekend and so we decided to venture out on to the historic Whiskey Row. This place is now called Whiskey Row Pub and for a Saturday night, it was pretty empty. Pretty expansive selection of draft beer and of course the 2 for 1 special was nice although I will agree with past reviews that note that its not really a full beer that the pour with the mugs being a bit small. We each ordered a beer(there were four of us) and instead of giving us the purchased one and the free one for each set of couples, they charged us each for the beer and gave us each a token for the free beer which I thought was a little tacky but I cant fault them too much for. After a few sips the bartender mentioned that she poured my girlfriend the wrong cider(she asked for pear and got apple) and while this wasn’t a big deal, the bartender told her that the next one was on her. We then went to take part in the foosball($ 0.75 per game, kind of short games) and some ping pong(paddles and ball were on the table so I assume its free). Once we had finished the round my girlfriend went to get another cider and the same bartender poured her another and then CHARGEDHERFORIT! Apparently they just talk a big customer service game. Pretty disappointed in this place, not too high on the list for a return trip.

Oh my lordie! Ghetto. And I’m being polite. I’m pretty sure the bartender was drunk it was only 9pm. Dirty people. Three security for every one patron. Place was a joke.

It is what it is. There ain’t no bands but the beer is cheap. On the weekends a bunch of kids show up. Kind of annoying but if you want a dark place to sulk before 10pm and drink cheaply probably a good place. Contray to what someone else said the jukebox wil let you download whatevery you want including much of Bauhaus. The beers are only about 12oz, not a full pint. No complaints, it’s not uppity like Bricks or divey like Donnas. Only people you have to worry about getting into fights with now is the off duty biker cops.

It’s now whiskey row bar, despite the horribly uncreative name I would highly recommend this place! Great bartenders, music, beer selection and a lot more. 3 pool tables, a Ping pong table and a dance floor, u can do anything here! Also the menu offers some unique options, my bf and I shared the turkey leg while watchin Monday night football obviously complete man fun but so delicious I enjoyed it as well. If u stop in ask for Jeff he’s got some great stories

Not much to be said about this place other than that it’s a long room where you can purchase alcohol and sit and drink it. It was deader than disco on a Friday night when we visited. They have a TV showing slides of seemingly better or more popular times at the bar. There isn’t much atmosphere or anything at all of note. They frequently run drink specials that are essentially 2-for-1; you buy a beer and you get a token to get another of the same beer. What people don’t realize is that the pours are very small, so you’re paying the same amount a normal pint would cost for 2 half-sized beers. You aren’t getting a deal, trust me.

Loved this place! I was recently in Prescott on a Monday night and was looking for something to do with a few of my friends. After going to 2 other places that were not exciting, made our way to Moctezuma’s at 9:15pm and we closed the place down at 2am. Loved the fact that the draft beer was 2 for 1(or $ 2 a piece) until 10pm but what made it even better was that we were able to purchase drink chips to use after 10. Jeff the bartender was the BESTBARTENDEREVER! Very friendly, very funny, and just seemed like an over all great person. There was a fair amount of people in the place playing pool and ping pong so it was never really dead. The people in the place were very friendly and really made us feel welcomed. I would return to the place in a heartbeat if I lived in the area.

This is a bar that I think you should avoid. First the drinks are 2 for 1. They are not pints, not even close and at $ 4 a piece it is a rip-off. The staff is not friendly and the security allows everyone to sit in the doorway and smoke so the bar is full of smoke. If you enjoy drunk trash, fighting and the local police presence all night long come on in for a great time. Very disappointed. Also the dart games are broken and the pool games are over priced and put money into the juke box to pick from a bunch of red neck worn out songs. Oh and they are censored songs to boot. Never again!

So on my 4th of July trip to Prescott I wound up at Moctezuma’s and very glad I did. First off they had buy a pint get one free until 10pm which means all pints are $ 2($ 4 but second is free). They have pool and get this PING-PONG. That’s not all if you have any PS3 games you can bring them in and play on a flat panel they have the system and controllers there for you. Later that night they had a DJ come in and play requests. I had a great time and for sure will be back just next time I’m bringing FIFA or Madden so I can get my game and drink on.
