What a wonderful and romantic stay we had!!! The grounds are beautiful complete with swings, bunny cage, and rocking chairs on the porch. The house is clean, warm and welcoming. We stayed in the John Meech room which has a usable fire place that warmed our bedroom in the evening. No TV but instead word searches to complete by the fire. Our four poster bed was so comfortable and we slept so well!!! She bakes amazing cookies from scratch along with amazing breakfast!!! We had such a wonderful stay and plan to come back soon!

This Bed and Breakfast is highly recommended by myself and my guest. It is everything it should be, inviting, engaging and a delightful hostess. The room itself was wonderful. The mattress and bedding were so comfortable. The entire inn was impeccably clean, not a speck of dust to be found, which is difficult to do in a 300 year old house. I have stayed at several bed and breakfasts and this is definitely in the top 5. The breakfast was delicious and knowing that many of the ingredients for the blueberry pancakes and the Apple situation served came from her farm & organic was a just another reason to love this place. The inn was nicely decorated for Halloween and I look forward to going back for the holidays and to see her beautiful garden.

This place is completely lovely. The building is legitimately old – 1720 – and just charming. The bedroom I stayed in is furnished with an antique four-poster and cloudlike soft. Spending time in the garden surrounded by beautiful, fragrant flowers and butterflies is better than a spa date. Gail, the owner, is so warm and welcoming, a terrific cook – and your breakfast eggs are straight from the chicken. Make this your refuge! I sure have.

If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by this cute little garden and gift shop on the side of the road. They have fresh plants galore, and plenty of cute little gifts of different types inside. We met the owner Gail, and she is an absolute sweetheart. She puts her entire life into running her businesses and it shows. The place is absolutely beautiful. The items are of high quality and hand picked by Gail. And the prices are pretty darn reasonable. If you’re looking for a gift, souvenir, or just new plants for the garden, be sure to stop by here.

This place was really lovely. I’ll break my review down. Room: immaculately clean and pretty. Our room had it’s own bathroom that was also clean, had towels and all the essentials available. It was decorated in a very pretty historical style. My husband is especially picky and had nothing to even point a finger at. House: Very cosy. there is a very large front yard where we had breakfast in the morning when it was nice out. If you stay there definitely walk the grounds of the house. It’s so pretty and calming there. The house sits on about 5 acres but it’s mostly woods all around except for the area right around the house. Breakfast: The best part! They have a farm and garden on the grounds so all the eggs, herbs, and fruit were from their garden and farm. Everything was very fresh and delicious. On the first day we had eggs and herb roasted potatoes which were delish. We also had home made muffins with blueberries from the garden! amazing! the next day we had by far the best pancakes I have ever had. all homemade with items from the yard! I would come back just for the breakfast! Owners: Gail and her husband Sandy are the sweetest! They took really good care of us. They were very helpful as far as what to do around town before we took off for the casinos in the evening.

Cute little B&B near Mystic, Connecticut. We stayed in the John Meech room and it was nice… with a whirlpool bath, but when I ran the whirlpool, it was so loud! Doh. Nice breakfast, friendly innkeeper.
